What factors make this program the best for the students to opt for?

By pursuing management courses, it is easy for students to manage their personal lives and will be able to do business. Knowing all these management functions will help us to lead the business in the right manner. At the same time, we have specializations like Marketing, Finance, and HR. They have different hospitality and several things are there in MBA. If you do this by choosing in your interest, that will help you to enhance your skills, and knowledge in a particular domain, as well as that will help them to choose a better career option for them. So, an MBA is a good program for students who want to flourish in the field of management or for any business or any option they would like to enter. It is the best program to choose.

What are the best practices in this program you’re doing?

Basically, in this program, we have group discussions and case study analytics, and we have programs like we will send the students for internships that will help them to know before entering into the job area. This domain helps the students to understand thoroughly what’s going on in the company and what is the role of an employee after entering into the industry. So it will give some good experience for them before entering into the job. They will analyze what kind of skills they require. We have the best

programs, like the best things like case study analysis, group discussions, and industrial visits. We are offering several best practices like the soft skills we will provide, everything it will help you to develop.

What are the challenges that you faced while inculcating this program into your curriculum?

The major challenge, I felt is the changes happening in the market. Exactly. Market and outside the environment, it’s keep changing. There is no limit to this change, right? So when there is a change happening in the environment, obviously what will happen means students to meet the challenges, whatever the changes happening in the market, that is a major challenge ahead. See, for example, during COVID-19, the major challenge they have faced is a majority of the employees, work from home, such kind of challenges, right? So that is a challenge.

How did you feel when you came to Ashoka Women’s Engineering College? How you are feeling now?

When I entered Ashoka Women’s Engineering College, the first environment I have seen, it’s like, I’m impressed. Employees, first, should have to be in love with the college environment, then automatically we feel somewhat committed towards the management. I strongly believe in that. When I entered the college, the environment, the green campus, that attracted me, was the first thing. And second thing, after coming into the college, I feel great to work with such a great management. See, I worked in some other colleges, like the five colleges I worked in, the thing which I love most in this college is employee management. 

What are the benefits and career options after pursuing this course?

Students will get good jobs after doing the MBA, we have a good TPO right now in our college, he’s always the person to give and benefit the students by choosing good career options for them. He is trying to give a maximum number of companies to the company, to the college, especially. I’ve been observing that benefit means they will get a good job. So, the benefits mean they will get a good job at the same time. 

What do you think are your roles and responsibilities?

As the head of the department, I have to fulfill all expectations of my kids, my students who are joining our College, when they join, they have some sort of expectations, right? About the MBA program. Expectations are good, 100% placements, 100% getting the knowledge and whatever the things, meeting the industry expectations. They have a lot of expectations when they are coming into college. As the roles and responsibilities, giving 100% knowledge about the subject to them and giving an n number of case studies, right? At the same time, they should have to pass their subject without any backlogs, right? Ensure good classwork and subject work. Finally, we give a better option for them and get a job or else, if they want to pursue higher education like Ph.D. programs, in that also, we will give 100% thing, whatever they would like to choose, right? If they want to pursue their Ph.D. program, it will help them, and we’ll tell them what options they have. So many of the students, think that PG pursuing an MBA is a last, right? There is an option after doing an MBA also, there are n number of Ph.D. programs available, higher education is there, if they want to do any bank, if they want to go, we will provide an aptitude training also.
