BHU PG Admission 2024 Open through CUET PG, Apply till June 3

New Delhi: The Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, has extended the registration date for postgraduate (PG) programmes for the academic year 2024-25. Candidates can now fill out the application form till June 3, 2024, at 11:59 pm, by visiting the official website, bhu.ac.in. Candidates interested in applying for admission can apply at the official portal: bhu.ac.in. 

As per BHU, admission to PG courses offered by the university and its affiliated institutes will be done based on marks secured in CUET PG 2024. Students must have selected BHU while filling out the CUET-PG 2024 form and appeared in the relevant test for the University's PG programs like MA, MCom, MSc, MBA, MCA.

Informing about the process, the official website reads, "Admission to all PG Programs of BHU will be done on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test- Postgraduate 2024 [CUET (PG) – 2024] only, for the academic year 2024-25. BHU has adopted a Combined Allotment Program for Post Graduation courses [CAP (PG) – 2024]".

Candidates can submit their registrations for BHU PG Admission 2024 Counselling on the PG Admission Combined Allotment Program(CAP-PG) 2024-25 Portal of BHU. Seats will be allotted based on CUET scores and availability of admission seats.

• For MA: B.A. (Hons.)/ B.A. under 10+2+3 pattern securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate.
• For MCom: B.Com (Hons.)/ B.Com./B.Com.(Hons.)-FMM under (10+2+3) Pattern Securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate including all subjects studied at B.Com
• For MSc: B. Sc. (Hons.)/B.A. (Hons.)/B.Sc./B.A. under 10+2+3 pattern securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate
• For MBA: Minimum 50% marks in aggregate at the B.Sc. (Ag.) & allied disciplines OR B.Sc. Home Sc. Or B.Sc. with at least one subject under 10+2+3 Scheme
• For MCA: Minimum 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 out of 10 in BCA/BTech/BA

Step 1: Visit the official website of BHU at bhu.ac.in.

Step 2: On the admissions tab, click on the link ‘PG registration cum counselling 2024 link.

Step 3: The page will redirect to BHU official admission portal.

Step 4: Register on the website and login using the required credentials.

Step 5: Fill in the required credentials and pay the application fee. Click on submit.

Step 6: On submission, download the page and take a printout of it for future reference.
