How to Raise an Objection Against the Answer Key?

ASTU has opened a dedicated online window for challenges to the provisional key. Each objection must be backed by valid supporting material and the prescribed fee.

  • Visit the official link titled "Challenge(s) to Provisional Answer Key, CEE-2026".
  • Log in using the application credentials used during registration.
  • Select the question number being challenged.
  • Upload supporting proof or reference material for the objection.
  • Pay the fee of Rs 500 per question through the online payment gateway.
  • Submit the challenge before June 16, 2026, at 6:00 PM.

Objections submitted after the deadline will not be considered under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the payment receipt for future reference.

Why This Matters

The provisional key gives candidates a brief two-day window to flag errors. A valid challenge can change the final key. This may directly affect ranks and seat allotment in counselling.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Download the provisional answer key from astu.ac.in without delay.
  2. Match responses against the recorded OMR or response sheet.
  3. Identify questions where the official answer appears incorrect.
  4. Collect supporting references from standard textbooks or sources.
  5. Pay Rs 500 per question and submit objections before June 16, 6:00 PM.
  6. Save the submission acknowledgement and payment receipt safely.
Keep an Eye On

ASTU will publish the final answer key after reviewing objections. The Assam CEE 2026 result and rank card will follow on astu.ac.in.
