• I can’t fully comment on this yet, as I haven’t completed my course. However, based on what I’ve seen so far, the situation isn’t great—but it’s still better than in India. If you have 2+ years of experience, you should be in a good position.

• I stayed in student accommodation provided through the university, cost around €788 per month for a room. and If you're looking for cheaper options, you can also find places outside the university. But i recommend avoiding platforms like WhatsApp and Discord for apartment hunting, as they can be unreliable. rather use daft.ie—all listings there are registered, so there’s a much lower risk of being scammed.

• 2 to 3% of people secure employment within 6 months of completing their course. It takes time, but it's all worth it.
• The research that I have done states that if in my field you have some sort of experience you can easily get 50000 to 65000 euros annually.
• Finding jobs after graduation is quite challenging, but keep hunting on LinkedIn, build connections and keep networking.
• In Europe, universities don't provide placements so it's typically you who has to do all the work. A lot of companies hire UX/UI but at the same time competition is a lot.
• Major companies that hire are KPMG, EY, PWC, etc.

• I preferred on-campus accommodation, which I searched on the university's website.
• My monthly rent was 740 euros including bills as I lived in a 6-bed apartment with ensuite rooms non-sharing. There were a variety of facilities available like free gym, sports, on-campus pub, and free events available for students on-campus.
• As Ireland is known for the housing crisis, my challenge was to find a room for me, so I preferred on-campus accommodation. My only advice for future students is that on-campus is a bit expensive but is reliable compared to off-campus. Even if you opt for off-campus, please get it verified through a reliable source and then only make the payment to the landlord. A lot of scammers are hunting for students like you!
• My accommodation was on-campus, a 5-minute walk to my main building. Most of the Indians prefer living on campus as even they know living on-campus makes life easier.

There's no concept of placement outside of India. Only career fair where atleast 50 to 100 companies put up stalls and advertise what they have for graduate students. There is a career guidance department that helps you in honing your CV and interview skills, and they regularly touch base with you if you need any help. But that's pretty much it. You are supposed to search for jobs by yourself. Median salary for a post graduate ranges anywhere from 25k to 40k depending on your field, skillset, experience level etc.

UL was a breath of fresh air. It was a one off experience for me that I'll never have again in my life. That said, I really think the university can do better in terms of checking on their international students in terms of accommodation and actually bringing in the concept of placement. If these 2 can be taken care of, I think it'd become the most sought after university in Europe.

You'll have lot of opportunities as a software engineer in Ireland. But you have to find the job on your own. There is no such thing like on-campus placements in UL. The pay will start from 32,000 Euros/annum and you'll be getting paid based on your experience.

My overall experience was great because this is the first time I came out from my home town and had to lead an independent life. If you are confident about yourself and have some patience in everything, you'll have a great life here regardless of the University you're choosing.

From third semester, we search for jobs, and get it since there are a lot of opportunities after software engineering. There is a career centre, preparation for interview but direct companies don't visit, we would get a lot of calls regarding job opportunities after applying. They keep us updating regarding number of companies having different job roles. The package varies depending on experience, and university.

I have chosen this university because this is one of the top universities of Ireland with so much facilities and I have gone through various researches as well so I found this university to be good for me.

The University itself organizes jobs fair from time to time and a many companies turn up each time. Especially Ireland attracts major MNC's and that have several headquarters across the country. Job opportunities are good, more importantly in the field of Engineering, Nursing, Finance, IT and Data.

There are various websites like Study in Ireland. There are Facebook groups like Study in Ireland with respect to the particular year. There are various consultants on the groups and they also help us. They don't charge any fees.

80% of the people try and get a job as per the market requirement and eligibility in Ireland. The country is very good for the ICT sector and healthcare sector, if you have more than 5 years' experience then you can get a job fast.

Affordable cost of living and low tuition fees. The content of the program was perfect for me.

Some companies visited to recruit students during campus visits. I know of a friend who got her job through this means.

I chose the institute because of the good reviews as well as because it was recommended by my agent.

IT has good scope, Pharma also has. Automation is growing. Pure mechanical is not recommended.

It's a high-ranked University and kya the only university of offer this course. Environment is really good. Supportive university

Getting a job is an easy affair. However, there is competition in all fields and locations it's up to one how to manage.

Back then, it was the only university in Ireland offering courses in project management. In Europe, there are very few countries that are English speaking so selected Ireland.
