- 1. Best in Ireland in terms of reputation, program and overall presence in market. 2. Project management because of experience and skillset.
- Located at a safer place in Dublin, excellent facilities for commutation. frequent bus services from within the campus and in house dinning options along with sports area, theatre and clubs.
Dislikes
- Nothing apart from the hostel rent as mentioned. paying 1000+ euro for a month becomes too much when you calculate you monthly expense in Ireland. That is only available for 10 months.
Good presence and respect in Ireland. Good campus atmosphere and events. Professors are supportive, no negative points as such apart from hostel rentals.
Course Curriculum
3 Semesters overall of 3-4 months each. Second semester is live project with companies and startups across Ireland. Third semester is about Charity project - working with real NGO raising real money.
Faculty
50 to 1. easily manageable. Very much approachable and supportive. Program director, Project management - JOE HOUHTON.
Campus Life
UCD is huge to explore everything in one year. more than 100 clubs, sports, Art and facilities. Very lively campus with no racism, Bar in house, and excellent facilities provided.
Placement
No campus placements available. Job fairs will be conducted - shortlist your company and apply. Average time to job offer after graduation will be around 6-7 months ( 80% placement rate in 6-7 months) Salary is subjected to role and company.
Accommodation
Hostel accommodation available - 1000+ euro/ month ( too costly in my opinion ) Sharing options - can find on WhatsApp groups and Facebook. Avg of 600 Eur without bills. Do not pay anything in advance unless you are here in Ireland and know the landlord and met in person.
Exams
Requirement: ILETS : above 7 band overall / DUOLINGO : 110+ score. My Scores: IELTS : 7.5 / Duo lingo : 142. SoP requirements: 1. Highlight education background and reason to chose your higher secondary education for ex: why you chose Computer Engineering or BSc in finance. 2. Build story on how good you were about how good you were at your course overall and why you wish to pursue education further. ( for freshers ). for experienced professionals - mention how your job experience has progressed so far and having an international degree with support with you future goals and vision. 3. Highlight facts and example which would support you application for example built an App for X users, or helped X organization to grow in Y direction generating XX revenue. 4. Explain why XYZ university is best for your course and for for your work expectation later. do some research on the graduates on your program and include the same on how this could help you in your journey. 5. Highlight extra curricular activities and leadership experience if any related to university or program. 6. Curate you SoP as per the college you are applying mentioning recent facts and articles.
