GMAT registration can be done in 4 easy steps. To register for GMAT test, you must log in to the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) official website, mba.com. GMAT Registration Process
For each GMAT test registration, you can apply once for the GMAT exam. Visit the GMAT official website for registration. You can choose to preferred test centers and GMAT exam dates as per your wish. During a rolling 12-month period, you may take the GMAT no more than five times and once every 16 calendar days. A person may take the GMAT up to eight times in their lifetime.
If you register for GMAT exam via phone, you must contact +91 120-439-7830. The contact timing is between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. as per Indian Standard Time. You need to pay an additional USD 10 (INR 836) for GMAT exam registration by phone. To register via postal mail, fill up the GMAT Appointment Scheduling Form. Step 1: Create an account in mba.com
If you do not have your account, create an account at mba.com. It will take you to the registration page, where you must fill in the following details. Fill your First name, Last name, E-mail address, and Password.
Step 2: Click Register for GMAT
For GMAT Exam registration, you need to click on the Exams tab at the top of the page. You have to choose GMAT Exam at test center or online. Next, click on ‘Register Now’ and you will be taken to the profile creation page. Then fill in the asked details to go further:

Provide your background and other qualification details as given in the online GMAT registration form.
Add overall academic performance (grade point average, or GPA) in your undergraduate or first university degree:

Step 5: Book your exam by choosing the nearest GMAT test center. Select the preferred GMAT exam registration date. You can choose up to three test centers to get into the exam.
Step 6: After selecting the preferred GMAT test date, you need to select a suitable time to apply for GMAT exam.
Step 8: Lastly, pay the GMAT Registration fee online through a debit or credit card. You can use VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Network Cards to pay the registration fee.

No, the GMAT online exam has omitted the AWA section from its syllabus. Therefore, if you are planning to take the online GMAT exam you do not need to prepare for this particular section.
