GMAT registration can be done in 4 easy steps. To register for GMAT test, you must log in to the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) official website, mba.com. Create an account by providing all your details for graduate management admission test registration. Depending on the slot availability of GMAT test centers near you, you can book your appointment. You can register for GMAT before 3 months of your tentative test date. There is no fixed GMAT registration date, you can avail the registration process throughout the year. The registration process can be done online, by mobile, fax, or postal mail. Pay roughly USD 275 (INR 23,001) for registration to appear at the test center and USD 300 (INR 25,092) for online GMAT exam.

For each GMAT test registration, you can apply once for the GMAT exam. Visit the GMAT official website for registration. You can choose to preferred test centers and GMAT exam dates as per your wish. During a rolling 12-month period, you may take the GMAT no more than five times and once every 16 calendar days. A person may take the GMAT up to eight times in their lifetime.

If you register for GMAT exam via phone, you must contact +91 120-439-7830. The contact timing is between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. as per Indian Standard Time. You need to pay an additional USD 10 (INR 836) for GMAT exam registration by phone. To register via postal mail, fill up the GMAT Appointment Scheduling Form. Then for payment, fill in your credit card information or enclose a money order, personal check or a cashier’s check. If you are incapable of taking the GMAT in standard conditions due to disability, request GMAC by filling out this GMAT exam accommodations request form. For any disabilities, you must send it with medical documentation by fax or as a hard copy (not by email).

Step 1: Create an account in mba.com
If you do not have your account, create an account at mba.com. It will take you to the registration page, where you must fill in the following details. Fill your First name, Last name, E-mail address, and Password.

Step 2: Click Register for GMAT
For GMAT Exam registration, you need to click on the Exams tab at the top of the page. You have to choose GMAT Exam at test center or online. Next, click on ‘Register Now’ and you will be taken to the profile creation page. Then fill in the asked details to go further:

Step 3: Complete Profile
Provide your background and other qualification details as given in the online GMAT registration form.

Add overall academic performance (grade point average, or GPA) in your undergraduate or first university degree:

Step 4: Provide your work details if you have previous work experience.

Step 5: Book your exam by choosing the nearest GMAT test center. Select the preferred GMAT exam registration date. You can choose up to three test centers to get into the exam.

Step 6: After selecting the preferred GMAT test date, you need to select a suitable time to apply for GMAT exam.

Step 8: Lastly, pay the GMAT Registration fee online through a debit or credit card. You can use VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Network Cards to pay the registration fee.

GMAT Registration Fees

To appear for the exam at the GMAT test centre, you must pay USD 275 (INR 23,001) as registration fee. To appear in the GMAT online exam, you must pay roughly USD 300 (INR 25,092). From 31st March 2023, as per government budget guidelines, 18% GST will be applicable over the registration fee. Here are GMAT exam registration fees as per different services:

GMAT registration can be done between 6 months and 24 hours before the exam date. For GMAT exam sign up process, you must enter your residential address, contact details, personal background, bank transaction history and employment background. You must begin research for the MBA or MIM College at least 10–12 months before the application deadline. Prepare for GMAT at least 3-6 months before the exam.

Is AWA section included only in online mode?

No, the GMAT online exam has omitted the AWA section from its syllabus. Therefore, if you are planning to take the online GMAT exam you do not need to prepare for this particular section. The GMAT online exam measures the verbal, quantitative, integrated reasoning, and critical thinking skills that are most relevant for graduate business education. Each section contains the same number of questions and time per section as the current test center-based GMAT exam.

Yes, to register via postal mail, you need to fill up the GMAT Appointment Scheduling Form. For payment, you must fill in your credit card information or enclose a money order, personal check, or cashier’s check. The amount must be payable in US dollars and drawn on a US bank. Compile all the documents and send them to Pearson VUE, Attention: GMAT Program PO Box 581907, Minneapolis, MN 55458-1907, USA.
