Internships Opportunities:

For internship college gave us a app called superset where daily 2-3 company come and we can apply for company directly through superset, I have also applied for Bluestone, Emiza, Landmark, Arvind fashion, IFB and I am selected in IFB with stipend of 11000 per month

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The Fees of ITM BUSINESS SCHOOL, KHARGHAR - NAVI MUMBAI is 1125000, which is too much fees for a middle class family, and the saddest part is that, students can't get there ROI return, but college have hundred percent placement records.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had an Inclination towards Retail Management, and this college offered the same so I was inclined to choose this specialisation. 1:1 gender ratio. 1:1 engineering and non engineering Ratio. Mostly all of them are masters and Doctorate holders. There is a total of 6 trimesters in total. So in a gap of around 3 months, each trimester exams take place.

Internships Opportunities:

aThere is 100 percent placement in the summer internships too. There are a lot of companies that visit the campus for summer internship opportunities. All the top companies come for the placements. All the companies are almost similar in summer internships as well final placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well designed and it focuses on specific niches; the faculty-student ratio is 1:60 and it seems pretty fair; as faculties are always approachable. Faculties are well qualified and have PhDs from top universities across India and the world. Students are regularly tested on a quiz basis, and there are exams undertaken on basis of the trimester.

Campus Life:

The college has a plethora of clubs and committees; pertaining to one's hobby, passion and interest. The campus life is one of the finest in the country with a lush green 50-acre campus in heart of Mumbai. The classrooms are also well designed. The college has a gym, Football field, Running track, Squash, etc.

Placement Experience:

As far as placement is concerned it's not that good, not that bad. Many companies visit our campus for the process of recruitment. But the package is of only Rs. 3-4 lakhs, which is quite disappointing. However the university claims of providing 100% placement but m not happy with the package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose MBA in retail management because our family business is related to retails only and I want to learn more it. The faculty is nice and conduct great online sessions since all our classes are being conducted on online modes. They also conduct online examinations because of pandemics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Retail management is very close to Marketing core and I have been always interested in marketing. Also, I want to pursue the FMCG sector so MBA in retail management is best suited for me. Faculty: student would be 1:15 here. Some are permanent and some faculties are guest faculties. The online mode of teaching has restricted us from answering this question precisely. We are undergoing online studies due to covid and it is not satisfactory at all.

Placement Experience:

After we are done with our 4th trimester in Aug/Sept, the companies start coming for recruitment. The batch size of K J Somaiya is too large now (550+) so do not get into the trap of the highest and top 10, 20 percent placement thing. The average is around 9.5-10 LPA but then the fixed component is around 7.5 only. Not recommended at all after investing 20 lac rupees.

Ques. Between general PGDM from jaipuria Noida and PGDM in retail management from BIMTECH greater Noida, which one would be better?

● Top Answer By Tithi Aggrawal on 10 May 23

Ans. JIM and BIMTECH, Noida provide PGDM programs. Your aim and interests determine the program which you should opt for.  JIM Noida's PGDM is ideal for Gen. Man. career seekers. The 2nd year provides specialisations in finance, marketing, human resources, operations, and strategy. BIMTECH, Greater Noida's PGDM-RM can help you break into the retail industry. You can learn retail operations, supply chain management, customer behaviour, and marketing. It offers internships as well as industrial interactions. When taking everything into consideration, I believe that the brand value of BIMTECH gives it a significant advantage over JIM in terms of value as well as the brand. They were also able to achieve 100% placement rate for the 2023 batch. The Highest CTC offered was somewhere around 24 LPA.Read more
