Course Curriculum Overview:

I am from science background. After seeing difficulty in science I decided to choose this stream. I got early interest in commerce because I am good in maths. I thought of MBA as my goal so i choose this course. Having management, law, computer and EVS as the subjects it really enhances the personality in real life. I personally don't think anything is there to be improved. Even the teachers are well educated and smart to tackle students weakness and help them with everything they have. Questions are all related to the course we study, and the exams are fair enough to improvise a students knowledge. Sometimes it's difficult but it's on students about how well they prepare themselves for the exams.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure is genuine for all categories of students. Even the poorest people can afford the fees of their child per year. Students also gets different scholarships on a yearly basis which is even more than the fees deposited. Scholarships like NSP where students get around 20000 and the recent scholarship by nabin odisha where students got 10000 and many other schemes help students to get something as savings. No other charges are taken other then the back paper clear fees which is mandatory. All the staffs and workers other than teachers are well mannered and helpful.

As DBE is part of South Campus of Delhi University , We have one of the largest library in country .Library equips a large number of books from authors across the globe. We also have access to e library and other online resouces. DBE also has various clubs ranging from marketing club to finance club to sports club

Course Curriculum Overview:

Department of business economics offers MBA ( Business Econmoics ) with dual specialization . Students have to choose any two out of three (ANALYTICS, MARKETING, FINANCE) in their final year. That,s why i choose DBE over any other B-School because most of B-School offers specialization only in one are. With two options in specialization it would be easy to change or switch role in future if i want to change job role for any reason. Faculity to student ratio is 1:10 approx and department also have visiting / guest faculties for particular subjects. All the facultity members are Phd holders from top institution in country. Faculty here holds a vast experience in teaching with an average of 15 years. Teaching method is also great and as par to any good B-School.Teacher's are always open to change if required . MBA in DBE consists of 4 terms / Semester spread over two years.Exams here moderate to difficult in terms of difficulty level.

There were projectors in every class, a watercooler too, sports were there such as Basketball, Football, Kabadi, Badminton, etc. All clubs were run by the students but there was always a faculty member to help if needed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I was studying commerce since class 9 so I had a keen interest to study commerce as not a specific subject but all the major subjects of commerce so I enrolled in this course. There are different faculty members for different subjects who are never absent. Most of the faculty members have done Ph.D.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good. The average package is 10 LPA. Even if campus placement is not offered students prepare for high level Govt jobs like Rbi grade A, UPSC etc because the economics background is a good advantage. In the private sector also jobs can be scored off campus.

Campus Life:

The life at campus is great. The college is located in the lush green south campus of Delhi University. Clubs and committees are an integral part of the student body and students participate actively in them. The student body has a lot of responsibilities.

We don't have the concept of placement week in our college it is more of a placement season which take place over the span of 9 months. Companies can visit the campus at any point of time and students are eligible to summer placements and final placements from mid 1st semester and end of 3rd semester respectively.

Remarks:

Return of investment is good as you will be able to finish MBA under 1 lacs and the curriculum is not very hectic so you can even try other things. As the college is located in Delhi so you can easily get the corporate exposure and you will get a degree from Delhi University.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course structure is created in a way it prepares the student for entering the industry. It has a niche in analytics and subjects with in-depth knowledge. The facilities are well versed with the subjects and teach in an interactive way, making the concepts clear.

Remarks:

Great ROI for a MBA college with 24000 for 2 years, Small batch size, great placement in companies like American Express, KPMG, S&P Global, Tresvista etc, with great CTC numbers. The average CTC is 11.97 lakh and median is 10 lakh. And highest CTC was 22 lakh.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The batch size is much smaller than other bschools. This can be a pro or a con, depends on you. The permanent faculty is really great, though the level of temporary faculty can be improved. The aspect where DFBE loses out on top tier B-Schools is infrastructure. Otherwise, DFBE offers great peer learning, amazing faculty, good placements and an affordable tuition fee (if that is a criteria you're considering).

Remarks:

A curriculum that stands out from the rest of the MBA colleges. Its focus on quantitative topics such as time series analysis, simulation and modeling, etc. makes this a niche course. Apart from the curriculum, the college offers a great RoI given the low tuition fee and an average package of around 11lpa.

Economics is a very intriguing subject and it is helping with my future plans. The faculty in IIM Simaur is ethical and guides you in the right direction. Hussain Sir has been a favourite of all as we share the same taste in sports. He has completed his PhD from JNU and is working as an assistant professor in IIM Sirmaur. Term-end exams were held twice a year and were based upon the internal assessments and project submission.

Campus Life:

Campus life at IIM Simaur is great and worth all the money. The institute has an umbrella club for consulting, VIBGYOR, RangManch, Markaizen, and Investment club. We had annual fest and celebrated festivals of all kind. Classroom teaching with digital techniques is fun to learn and innovate. Sports at IIM Simaur is as good as the curricular activities held at the institute.
