Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BSc Non-Medical course because I like mathematics. The teachers of mathematics are so helpful, they understand us in simple way which we like. The improvement in teaching method can be done that they can teach us in smart class, from where we can easily understand the digramatic problems. The frequency and timing of our exams along with our perspective on their difficulty level is good

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

I don't know about scholarships because I don't fall in this criteria. But, I can say surely that there are about three or four types of scholarships available in our college. One of my friend also got the scholarship. If we talk about complete course of education then it is about ?33,000 - ?40,000/- (for complete course of 3years) which is affordable for everyone.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well I had good interest in mathematics so I choose B.Sc. (Non Medical) . I wanted to opt for B.Sc. Mathematics Honors but it was not available in the college. BSc Non med is also good there are many things to learn and with practical knowledge also . Regular practical classes are taken and experiments are taught to students . Additional courses like c++ are also taught and in physics the computer programming subject is also taught with regular computer classes . However the job opportunities by doing this course are not there only the students who really learnt the additional courses well can go for a career in computer science or you can become a teacher of the same subjects you studied.

Campus Life:

Well the overall experience is average as there are no fests or cultural events in the college . Its very boring to survive in the college for 3 years because the college is only study oriented . A sport meet was held in March which I think was held after about 3 or 4 years. The library is very nice and large . Many books are also available and environment and infrastructure of library is I think the best part of the college. One in every three classroom have a smart board and projector. But the teachers use it very less. There are no social ground and clubs run by students.

Faculty:

The faculty of college is quite good. They teach you theoretical knowledge from books and if you have any query, they will solve it for you. The teaching technique is that they'll first teach you the topic and then give an assignment for the same and also you have to give a presentation based on your assignment. There are not many students who take the class regularly so the faculty to student ratio is normal, you can say that on every 50-60 students there is one teacher. Overall my experience was quite good with the faculty members.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

As it is a government college so fee of the course is not that much high in comparison to other private colleges. And yes there are various scholarships that are available for students who are from backward classes and students who need a scholarship can apply for it. The fee for My complete graduation is around 6k-7k excluding hostel fee because i live nearby the college. But if you chose to stay in hostel then it'll cost you around 5k-6k per year including the hostel fee, electricity bill, mess charges, etc.

Campus Life:

The college has a huge auditorium named Sahir Auditorium, which is named after renowned poet Sahir Ludhainvi, who was a former student of our college. Most of the cultural activities and events are organised in this auditorium only. Bhangra and Gidha performances in those events are the thing's students always wait to watch. Our college has a good cricket team, and a 3-day sports fest is organised annually in our college. Recently the college started organising marketing fest too, which give students the opportunity to have their own ventures in the event and fulfil their ambitions by having their stalls in the event.

Course Curriculum Overview:

After completing my 12 with good marks in PCM, I wanted to go ahead in the same field and chose Bachelor of Science. The B.Sc course of our college is probably the best in terms of faculty as some of the teachers of the science department have Phd degrees. Almost all of them carry a lot of experience in their profession and the way they handle the whole syllabus and teach students in a well structured way is really good for student's understanding. The exams are conducted in semester wise, and mid semester tests are taken almost a month before the start of the end semester examinations of the university.

When the assistant finishes the distribution work, the teacher asks you to write two experiments with the aim, requirements, method, theory, and everything with tables. The teacher announces the student's name. He then asks a few questions regarding the same before concluding the practicals. You just have to keep the file handy and create a beautiful piece. As explained by a B.Sc(Hons) Computer Science graduate from DU, there are the following scopes after the course: Job: If you are studying computer science at a college like Hansraj, KMC, or Venky, you may get a good job or your dream profile in a good company. If you believe and know that you will not be able to find work that is equivalent to your B.Sc Comp Sc, please do not apply.  Passion for Computers: If you want to go into research while still enjoying computer science, pursue an M.Sc in Comp Sc from DU or another reputable university such as Kolkata University or Bombay University. Ques. Is IGNOU good for B.Sc?

● Top Answer By Shivangi Guha on 07 Apr 22

Ans. Yes, IGNOU offers decent BSc courses. Although it is a distance learning degree, the course work is heavy. You will have to submit assignments and attend practical classes regularly. IGNOU has a strict evaluation system. You need to go thoroughly through the study materials to score well. Pursuing the degree along with a full-time job or full-time degree will be hectic. Ques. What are the future prospects of getting a BSc degree from DU? What are the best colleges in DU?

● Top Answer By Prashant Mathur on 12 Oct 22

Ans.  In today's world, getting a bachelor's degree from any college isn't worth much. DU has a brand name, but if your overall grades aren't good enough, having a degree from Delhi University is pointless. By providing many resources and an intellectual environment, Delhi University will assist you in exploring various aspects of your personality. However, if you have a bachelor's degree in any of the Science subjects or even Mathematics, you will need to do a master's or even a PhD to get a decent-paying job. However, if you are an SRCC or Stephens graduate, you may be able to get a good placement from the college itself if you have a degree in Arts or Commerce with above-average marks. The best colleges vary depending on your subject, such as SRCC for those interested in commerce. Stephen's is also regarded as one of the most prestigious universities. Other good colleges include Miranda House, Hindu, and Lady Shri Ram.Read more

● Top Answer By Deepak Kumar on 01 Nov 22

Ans. In order to get admission to the MSc program of IITs, you have to appear in the IIT JAM examination. This requires BSc Hons or a major in Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics. IGNOUs BSc major program has an option of a Physics major(48 credits of physics course out of total 96 credit for major in physics), Chemistry major(40 credits for major), Mathematics major or a BSc (General).
