Teachers are very friendly with students. I find the most coolest teacher -student bond here and all the faculty members are really nice. A male staff from physics department is very irritating. And maths faculty is just awesome ????. I don't know much about marking scheme because i don't gave any exam yet. Exams will be held in December.

Rps degree college , balana ,offers a good balance of academic and other activities. This making it a solid choice for students looking for a well rounded education. The courses are well structured providing a mix of theory and practical learning. As a bsc student I found the faculty to be knowledgeable and supportive. They are always willing to help outside the classroom. And making it easier to grasp difficult concepts. The infrastructure is decent with well- equipped labs and library. Also college encourages participation in various activities. Like sports cultural events and other skills which really help students to develop confidence. The fee structure is affordable compared to other private colleges in the region. And there are scholarships available for those who need financial help, which is great. The fees of students for Sc St category is quite lesser. No other money is taken for other activities. The overall environment is friendly and collaborative with a good student community .Where you can easily make friends and feel supported.I miss thoso days the golden days of my life. All in all RPS Degree College offers a good mix of academic support. Opportunities for personal growth and an engaging campus life .Making it a great place for anyone wanting to pursue their higher education. I personally suggest that you to be a part of Rpsains family.

Faculty:

The Faculty at RPS college is professional in various fields dedicated to quality education. Miss.Deepika Yadav(English teacher)is my favourite teacher.Because of his passion for teaching and ability to simplify complex concepts .No one that I dislike.0The course structure is designed to cover both theoretical and practical aspects of the subject. Also there are some skill building Sessions. Typically there are 5-6 exam per semester . Difficulty level varies while some may challenging while others based on excel skills .Moderate level of exam. The faculty to students ratio is approximately 20.

DAV college in Chandigarh is a semi government college but it's a A grade college which is very good. I took admission in BSc course and my admission was Rs 27673. I think it is little high for a poor student but as it is semi government i think it is okay. And for the registration i paid Rs 850 for it . The lab fees are included in the admission fee so no need to pay extra charge for it so it is good. As my cast is SC I got admission very easily. And for BA I head thier admission fees are like Rs 22000 and for those who don't choose practical subject their fee was like Rs 18000. This college also provide many scholarships like sports, art and culture etc.

Faculty:

I think the faculty to student ratio is good. They are available every time when the students wants them. I like Ruchika Yadav the most she is quite soft and one of my physics teacher. I don't know the name of the faculty i don't like but he is quite rude to every students. There are 2 exam in one semeater 1st one mit semesters test is conduct by the college and the 2nd one is conducted by the University. Some students fail and many passed.

My overall experience was good, as the classes were not so strict and moreover it offered a home like experience to me. Library of our college had an easy access to the books that were mandatory for our studies. There were some of sports and other cultural events too carried on but at low level.

Faculty:

* Student teacher interaction was so good as the teachers and the other staff members were so co-operative. They helped whatever was possible within their hands. * One thing, I would like to point out is that the result of exams are declared after a long time.

Faculty:

Faculty is friendly but they are not much interested in teaching. Faculty to student ratio is 1:80 but that rarely happens because actual class attendance is much less. Mostly faculty are busy is their chitchatting in office or some other work. They rarely teach for the whole period. There are twice end semester final exams in a year and twice mid sems. Exams are quiet easy if your base is clear as there are direct questions only and you can refer to previous years to study.

Youth fest is the biggest event in chandigarh college where more than 10 colleges participate which typically is in October. Other than that there are several small events going on in college. Library of the college is great. You can almost get everything related to the course. No technological provisions are in classroom. Sports and extracurricular is the highlight of the college. Many olympic winners like neeraj chopra, manu bhaker have done their graduation from dav.

There are 3 faculties for chemistry, 2 for physics and 2 for mathematics. I personally like all of the 3 faculties of chemistry department especially the faculty of inorganic chemistry. While i didn't like the faculties of mathematics because I didn't understand their way of teaching. There are sessional exams along with semester exam which will be conducted after Diwali break every year. In college life most of the students didn't concentrate that much on study so they fail to clear the exams.

Faculty:

The faculty to student relationship depends on the conditions. To some students they were very kind and also if there used to be any student who wasn't that good in studies, they didn't paid much attention over him. The faculty i liked is the mathematics faculty because they always taught what's important for us and they always were regular with their classes with good presentations. I didn't like the physics and electronics faculty there, they never came well prepared in the class, although the physics department improved in 3rd year but that wasn't enough. Talking about exams, if you've a 3 year course, then each semester you've to pass 5 end sem papers, before those you've to pass internals and for each subject there used to be 4 internals conducted over period of 3 months, after internals you've to pass practicals and finally then you'd be eligible for end sem exams.

Campus Life:

There are a lot of functions that are held in this college in regular basis having themes like what Artificial intelligence, we need to keep our surroundings clean, we need to reserve our natural sources etc. You can get a variety of books in the library of this college including fiction, sci-fi, religion, history, novels and many others. In the class you're provided with a smart board too with the help of which you can solve many complicated things.

Teachers are goood but I can talk about my course teachers only because I dont know about the other teachers as much. As much as i have heard, Ba teachers are kind off strict. Bsc non medical teachers are helpful but they can give you a lot of taunts to hear, they can scold you for less attendance. If a student want to go and ask for help, teachers will happily help. Faculty to student ratio was okay and they were very easily approachable because most of the science classes are on the same floor so either the teacher will be in the staff room or in one of the classes. Also they clear your doubts online too. I like one of my chemistry and physics teachers because they are quite friendly and strict at the same time. I dont like one of my physics teacher because of the way she treat students sometimes like she is a bit arrogant and rude. There are one mid term held before the finals and they are pretty manageable to do its the student has studied enough. It mostly comes from the book.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of physics was pretty comfusing and difficult sometimes to understand but at the end that depends on the student and her personal choices but according to me, physics was a bit hard to understand sometimes. Teachers of physics curriculum are good enough to make students understand concept. As for mathematics, analysis was difficult to understand because all you have to do is assume to solve. It was pretty difficult but the teacher tried to make the students understand and she repeats everytime you ask her to. Mathematics teachers are very much helpful in mcm. Chemistry was easy to study except there is a teacher who used to teach inorganic chemistry and it was kind off impossible to be taught from her . Curriculum has not much of relevance with the real world, only for those who wants to comtinue in this stream. Curriculum can be more of practical than being theory. Timing of exams are good and they are of moderate level.

The fees of the college is not much.one can easily afford it.ohr fees in first year was approx 30000.noe it is approx 34000.so in total we can say it costs me with 1 lakh of tution fees.aprt from this in a year we have to give the examination fees twice a year that means per semester.students also needs to give fine if there is hort attendance.

Campus Life:

The campus is overall good. This is a happening college in Chandigarh.I think this is the only college where certain activites are always happening in the college. There are lot of societies and clubs that a student can take part to grow. There are different types of fests organised by the colleg which makes it more interesting.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspect that really attracted me was the crowd of the college. You will encounter students from different states and ethnicities. As compared to other colleges in Chandigarh, the fights between students are not that common. As for the curriculum, teachers stick to the syllabus and teach that thoroughly so if you want to check whether you will be ready for real-world applications then you are advised to check the syllabus. You would also have the option to involve in various extracurricular activities which will make your resume look good and also help you gain confidence. But if you only stick to the curriculum, it lacks real-life application and limits itself to only theory. The frequency of exams is okay, it's the same for every college in Chandigarh affiliated to Panjab University.

Campus Life:

Socially college life is great. Various opportunities to get along with people of different cultures, and participate in various extracurricular activities if you're interested. Fests are held regularly but as for celebrities arrival. Virasat, panache, etc fests are held every year. You'll not be bored it's for sure. Library collection is great i must say. You'll have range of books in each field. Its a heaven for scholars and book lovers. The facilities of the college are nice, the computer labs are in great condition, the physics lab are somewhat lacking in availability and maintenance of apparatus. There are various clubs catering to different areas of interest. SD has been winning awards in Bhangra and gidda especially. Sports facilities are okay.

Ques. What are the future prospects of getting a BSc degree from DU? What are the best colleges in DU?

● Top Answer By Prashant Mathur on 12 Oct 22

Ans.  In today's world, getting a bachelor's degree from any college isn't worth much. DU has a brand name, but if your overall grades aren't good enough, having a degree from Delhi University is pointless. By providing many resources and an intellectual environment, Delhi University will assist you in exploring various aspects of your personality. However, if you have a bachelor's degree in any of the Science subjects or even Mathematics, you will need to do a master's or even a PhD to get a decent-paying job. However, if you are an SRCC or Stephens graduate, you may be able to get a good placement from the college itself if you have a degree in Arts or Commerce with above-average marks. The best colleges vary depending on your subject, such as SRCC for those interested in commerce. Stephen's is also regarded as one of the most prestigious universities. Other good colleges include Miranda House, Hindu, and Lady Shri Ram.Read more

● Top Answer By Deepak Kumar on 01 Nov 22

Ans. In order to get admission to the MSc program of IITs, you have to appear in the IIT JAM examination. This requires BSc Hons or a major in Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics. IGNOUs BSc major program has an option of a Physics major(48 credits of physics course out of total 96 credit for major in physics), Chemistry major(40 credits for major), Mathematics major or a BSc (General).
