Remarks:

Return on Investment was one of the major factors for choosing NIT Trichy, and it is considered as one of the best colleges in terms of ROI. The institute provides all the latest and necessary infrastructures, facilities, well-equipped classrooms, and modern sports centers. A dedicated NIT Trichy Wi-Fi connection is also available for the whole campus and can be accessed from anywhere within the campus. Other factors that influenced my decision was the placements and course structure. I have a keen interest in field of Marketing and Business Analytics, and most of the job profiles which are offered in NIT Trichy are from Marketing and Analytics domain. Moreover, the average CTC for the mentioned domains is 10 Lakh per annum (approximately). Department of Management Studies, NIT Trichy, follows trimester pattern, and allows the students to either to choose General MBA or two Majors or one Major and one Minor. For Major, only Marketing, Human Resources, Operations and Finance are available, and for Minors, Business Analytics and Business Analysis & IT Consulting a offered. The overall course structure is decent and in-lined with the corporate needs. The alumni base of NIT Trichy also had an impact on my decision. The institute have a strong and large alumni base which eventually helps the present-day students in various ways, especially for corporate insights.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The overall course structure is decent and in-lined with the corporate needs. Faculties of each domains are highly qualified, and ready to assist the students with any query or issues. The major drawback is that the institute will offer electives for Majors and Minors, but will not provide any Major or Minor certificates. After completion of the course, students will be given a certificate for General MBA.

Internships Opportunities:

I was selected for IMRB Bangalore and Amul Kozhikode. However i had self generated later on in another company and did not take that up. College provides you a lot of opportunities. Faculties help you alot day and night to get u good internships. So no issues with that. But most of the internships donot have stipend. You will get good companies and startups also and decent amount of learning, however no stipend in 7/10 cases. Rest might provide a decent stipend or PPO, depends on company

Course Curriculum Overview:

1 teacher teaching 70 students in one section. Students from all over india are there in your batch. They managed very well in online sceanario also. Teachers are good. Curriculum is good. Regular tests are conducted. More than 26 clubs are there in this college, so you can have lot of extracurricular activities.

Placement Experience:

The placements for MBA Students are much more tangent towards the Marketing Side. We have loads of BDA/BDE/BDT roles coming with good packages.Apart from sales domain, we do have management trainee, product marketing and product development roles from 5.0 lpa to 6.5 lpa , we have BA role opportunities with a good pay starting from 7.5 to 12.31 lpa and there are few opportunities for supply-chain operations and finance. The average is 6.8-7.0 lpa of the MBA Dept. Candidates interested to progress through further research and for further studies like having plans for PhD soon after they complete their MBA, this place is great for them. But students who aspire to get job opportunities with regards to supply chain and operations, finance and HR roles, is quiet challenging.

Fee Structure And Facilities:

The fee is minimal compared to private MBA or PGDM colleges, and I didn't notice any scholarship opportunity over here from the past one year. There is no financial assistance over and I am not aware of any. The number of companies that come in campus jobs are good but most of the Jobs are relevant to marketing - BDA Roles, Few Product marketing roles and Business Analysts roles. The average salary being offered over here lies at 6.5 lpa The highest pay offered was 12.31 lpa mostly. Student should have strong command over vocabulary and communication, analytical skills, and technical understanding of the IT technology if they are preferring to work in any company which deals with IT domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is dynamic. It is revised every trimester. The curriculum is designed in such a way that students are ready for this VUCA world. Faculties are highly qualified. Every faculty tries to connect the theory with the practical aspects with emphasis on case studies so that students could relate and take the learnings to the industry. Also, industry experts come as visiting faculty to take specialised courses.

Remarks:

BIM is a 37 years old institute with rich alumni base and also has good reputation in corporate. The batch size is small which is an advantage as it gives opportunity for every student to display their talent. The only disadvantage I find is its location. It is located in the outskirts of Trichy and hostels are similar to government quarters. Also, the diversity of the batch is low.

Remarks:

Alliance business school is a prominent B School in India. It is having 39th rank NIRF Rankings 2020, and also awarded the QS IGAUGE E-Learning Excellence for Academic Digitisation. The admission is merit base don CAT scores. The location of college is an added advantage, because a lot of recruiters came to popular colleges in the electronic city.

Campus Life:

Praxeis (Operations Management Club), Genesis (Organizational Leadershipand Strategy Club), Marketrix (Marketing Club), etc are some prominent technical clubs in the campus. The academic schedules in bit tough and the time to mange all the extra curriculars makes the life sometimes difficult.

It's good but still had room for improvement. The college is located in the business area of the city and is surrounded by many companies. So corporate interaction is very high. However I feel the syllabus still can be improved with an affiliation from a reputed University.
