Professional reasons, financial reasons, the passion for cooking, working in a luxury environment, or any other satisfaction a student may get from it. Attractive carrier, High annual packages, various specializations.
The curriculum of all IIHM college chains is similar means the college curriculum is up to date and follows all the latest developments of the industry. The curriculum is the proper mixture of practical and theory but frankly, mostly the curriculum focuses on practical knowledge rather than just theory. The faculty of the college is highly expert and they have very good industrial exposure. They have also completed their education from the top universities of India and abroad. The knowledge that the college faculty posses is outstanding.
The course is very helpful for learning the basics of Hotel industry and also the management part of it. Some of it is outdated and needs to be revised. 4 month industrial training is part of the curriculum, so a student goes through 4 months training in a 5 star hotel which gives the industrial exposure. Mr. Vinay Namjoshi is a very good and senior faculty for Front office, facility planning and strategy management.Mr. Sanjit Majhi is the senior faculty for culinary and is very experienced.
There is a very misconception which is practiced and believed throughout India that Hotel Management means only "Cooking Food", well let me clear it out, this is not the case. It is a 3 year B.Sc. Degree including 6 semeaters. It has four core departments i.e., Front Office, Accommodation Operations (Housekeeping), Kitchen (Cookery and Bakery) and Food and Beverage Services. Apart from these core departments one may opt from Food Retail and Non Food Retail Companies during their campus interviews. We have subjects like Accountancy, Strategic Management, Nutrition so a student coming from humanities, commerce, science will get benefited in some of the semesters Well the faculties are pretty much strict and they try to maintain discipline throughout the college. They are well skilled and give their 100% to make sure the students learn and get placed in a well reputed company. During the second year a student has to undergo the Industrial Training in a Five star hotel which is a part of the course. The duration of the training is for 4 months and one would get less than descent amount as a stipend.
The fee is quite expensive and yes we have to pay in one shot or two. The fee is 200000 INR and we have to pay it in a year for three year 600000 INR so it is quite costly too and not all can afford As it is a private institute
The fee structure of this course is 1,66,000 rs. It's a three years course.
The fee structure is not affordable because it's a private college. The fee for this course is 1,66,000 and the total fees of this course are 4.98 lakhs for the full course.
The fee structure of the college is too expensive It's around 1.66 lakh INR per year and they provide different exposures for which they also charge fees like as placement, industrial visits and many different activities conducted by the college.
The fee structure is expensive and fees are around 1.66 lakhs.
