The institute has successfully completed the placements for the MBA batch 2021-23. Over 105 companies across various sectors participated in the drive, including 49 new recruiters. The SIBM Pune average package and highest package stood at INR 26.77 LPA and INR 35.05 LPA, respectively.
Accenture Strategy, Aditya Birla Capital, American Express, Barclays, HSBC etc. were the recruitment companies last year in 2023
The placements - summer or final were decent during my days and hopefully its getting better with every year, though not 100%, which is the case in almost any B-School including the Ivy B-Schools.
Prominent recruiters are Goldmen Sachs, ICICI Bank, IBM, Whirlpool, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Axis Bank, American Express, HDFC Bank, HSBC, CRISIL, Kotak Life, KPMG, Birla soft, Wipro, ZYCUS, and many more.

Companies from different sectors and industries visit SIBM Pune for Summer Internship Process as well as for Final Placement Process. Sector-wise representation is as follows: For SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROCESS - IT/ Consulting - 39%, Automobile / Manufacturing - 15 %, FMCG / FMCD - 11% , BFSI - 8%, Healthcare / Pharma - 7 %, E-Commerce - 4%, Others - 16%. For FINAL PLACEMENT PROCESS- BFSI-22%, FMCG/FMCD-22%, Consulting-20%, IT/E-Commerce-15%, Manufacturing-9%, Automotive -4%, Healthcare - 3% and Others -5%.
