- The crowd of DAV college is really very great so the vibe of the college is really amazing
- Faculty are quite good as well as experienced one with good backgrounds
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities are very bad which includes the washrooms and the mess in particular.
- Coming to the cons- Attendance is not taken seriously, they take up a few hundred bucks at the end of the year and let go of those who don't even attend one single class (they will take down my review I am sure).

Course Curriculum Overview:
The semester exams are held every six months and before the sem exams we have the mod semesters. The teachers guide us well through all of the exams and also help us prepare for our real-life exams and the other exams except for the college ones. The faculty helps us deal with our real-world applications and also helps us prepare for our academic pressure.

- Crowd is good as there are no creepy peoples. Also the ambience of campus is also clean and maintained.
- Canteen food is also very tasty, A person cannot be bored of it if he/she wants to eat daily from there.
Dislikes
- Classes are very hot as there are no ACs or Coolers in classes of B.Com and also the classes are on top floor which always remain hot in summers.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I want to do business in future, So I thought that B.Com should be the best options as if I wanted to do anything other than business in future, I can do that also. So that's why I chose B.Com. Exams held on the good gap of time, So students can prepare for specific subjects.

The college do provides campus placement to the students. But the annual packages companies used to give is not too good. Very few companies good package comes to the college. In the last year you became eligible for placement. 20-40 got placements and joined the companies . Many students were not interested.

- Well, like the environment there, are there so much plants and trees in our college so it give us a happy vibe.
- About infrastructure, there are so many buildings for classes and the gardens also the cricket ground and the basketball ground, its so good there.
Dislikes
- Sometimes, don't like the hostel mess food.
- There are so many cars roaming in front of our college gate, which sometimes is very irritating.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because i want to build up my career in commerce side and BCom give us more opportunities. There are many faculty members in the college and everyone is very helpful and kind to students. And there are almost 1 teacher for 45-50 students. Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable and have a very good teaching method which makes it easy for students to understand. Mid term exams are held every 3 months and semester final exams are held every 6 months. Difficulty level is average if we study a very little on daily basis we can crack exams with good score.

The crowd of the college is very good and you'll find a lot of people who have similar interests. There are many societies in the college and they provide great experience for future. The staff is moderate. Some teachers are highly professional but there'll be some subject which you have do on your own.

- Infrastructure is good enough having alot classes and sections for each courses and also there are almost 4 to 5 canteens, teleo auditoriums, basketball court, cricket stadium, etc.
- Fest are conducted almost in every month's in the college and many other activities so that each and every child should take part.

I completed my 12th through commerce stream and want to pursue CA as a profession, so that's why I chose BCom for graduation. The faculties of my college are superb and the student ratio is quite high. The syllabus is completed on time and after completion of the syllabus, we have MST and finals.
Placement Experience:
The student becomes eligible for the placement from the 5th semester. Companies like Mahindra. The average package is 4 lakh and the maximum package is 14 lakh. 15% of the total no. of students in the faculty. My plan after getting the degree is to gain an internship or get an degree of MBA

The placement starts from the 5th semester or the last year of college Recently Deloitte visited our college regarding the placement offering package of 500000-600000. The percentage of students getting placement is pretty high until now.

In the last year of college and 3rd-year students are eligible for campus recruitment. Tech Mahindra and bull's eye etc are the company's visited and made offers there. 1,00,000 package highest offer paid by the company.
Remarks:
The reason I opted for DAV college is its reputation in my hometown and for the availability of a different plethora of courses. Also, many of my friends take admission in it. Besides, the most considerable thing is the nature of professors who are prominent in studying. And at last, I choose this course on the suggestion of my family members and teachers.

What is your review of DAV College Chandigarh?
DAV College Chandigarh has a huge campus. It includes a playground and 3-4 little gardens. The college is situated at the center of the city and everything is nearby. You can get all the basic amenities on campus as well. There are two canteens, two Nescafes, a juice center, a stationery shop, a print shop, a salon, and laundry.
The faculties are well-experienced. Some of the faculty members are quite friendly and cooperative. The college has a three-story library. It has a good collection of books.
DAV College has many clubs and societies like Literary society, Economic Society, NSS, etc. The college organizes events like Karvaan, and Star nights annually.
Election times are the worst. There are many fights and unnecessary chaos on campus. The college isn’t strict regarding its attendance rule and you can get away with not attending classes. Faculties sometimes don’t attend the classes and as a result, the students suffer. These are some of the disadvantages that you may have to face on campus.
