- One of the best university in India to do Hotel management.
- They focus on co-curricular activities. Different clubs are there so that you don't burn out.
Dislikes
- Campus is not that exciting. Definately not what you expect from your dream college.
- A little too strict of rules and dress code.
Placement Experience:
In the fifth semester the placement starts, they have a very high placement rate as all the companies comes to the college in the start considering the college is the best. Different companies like Marriott, Hyatt, Oberoi, Taj, Hilton, Lemon Tree, Eazydiner, Starbucks, Pret, etc comes for the placements. Highest package was for Growisto around 9.5LPA They have 100% placements. I am currently working as a Assistant sales manager in Eazydiner.

- The campus size is very small , so not much campus life
- The starting salary is low compared to other industries

IHM PUSA is the the number 1 Hospitality College in India. So all the major recruiters of Hospitality industry come for placement including hotel, retail, airlines, startups, etc . Average package is around 3.25 Lakhs. The major recruiters are Taj, Oberoi, Hyatt, ABFRL, ITC, etc.It has 100% placement record every year.

- Best part is the kitchen. You get to learn a lot in the kitchen department and will definitely make you self reliant
- Pusa makes you bold, it enhances your skills so much that you'll be ready to face any situation

- IHM PUSA administration is way too slow. It works almost as a government office where they don't care about your problems
- The hostel is one of the worst places you'll ever go to
Placement Experience:
The students are eligible for placements from their 3rd year. IHM pusa has a 100% placement record since years and it still serves to that. Incase a student doesn't get placed, the college takes full responsibility to place them by making a special group after the college ends after 3rd year where various companies are called upon for them specifically. Thus the college maintains 100% placement guarantee. All the big and small hotel companies come to IHM Pusa as their first choice for placements like TAJ, Oberoi, ITC, Marriot, Accor, etc. Apart from them, non hotel brands like Puma, Zomato etc have also come in for placements. This year, more than 140 companies came for placements giving an average package of 4lakhs per Anum. My plans after the college is to go for higher studies.

As per records and personal experience IHM pusa offers 100 percentage of placement rates but average package is little bit low but still it offers students to give application if they don't wana sit for placement as everyone have different goals

From fifth semester students are eligible to sit in placement of college there is no pressure if you want to get off campus placement , you can . All big hotels brands like taj , oberoi, ITC and much more companies comes and for corporate aditya birla , reliance, Starbucks like companies comes our college placement ration is 95% goes each year.my plan is to get good placement and make career in corporate sector.

The placement cell is good it is active. The process starts in 5th sem and end in 6th sem. Many famous companies like taj, itc , starbucks have visited college and offered management trainee program which would have made them managers in two year. Almost 92% students get placement every year the highest package offered is 720000 by growisto and average package is 250000. I plan to work as a chef.

The placements of college is beyond the sea .The rate of employment is almost 100%. The students are well placed in every corners and. Streams of nation.Not only hotels come to college but also from corporate sector as well as airline industry too. If there were no campus placement it would have been difficult to get employment this easy and at renowned hotels and companies The companies that have come was Nike, Zomato,rare rabbit,Aditya birla, pyramid consultancy hotels including mariott, Oberoi,Ihcl, roseate, Radisson, lemon tree etc

Although the initial salary packages offered by IHMs are good, don’t expect a cushy package. Your salary package will depend on the company that you are going to work for. It can range between INR 15,000 - INR 30,000/month. You can also get increments depending on the company rules. You should prepare thoroughly for the interview.
If you go through the management trainee program for some hostel you will get around INR 20,000 - INR 24,000. After completing the 2-year long trainee program you can expect to get a salary package of INR 40,000 - INR 50,000/month.
