The way the course is structured is extravagent. Both the practical and theory side are balanced. Yes, after JNU took over IHM in 2023 , first year syllabus is vast compared to IGNOU syllabus which were running in all IHM until 2023. But still it is very clear and on to the point

I was interested in cooking so I choose this course. The faculty-student ratio is good enough. The faculties are well qualified and have great experience in the hospitality sector. The practical section is more important than the theory. All the days either morning session or evening session, we will be having practicals. There are Both practical and theory exams. Theory exams will have mid sem exams also. Additionally, there will be IGNOU exams conducted each year, which have different modules.

The fees structure is feasible as compared to other colleges in Kerala. Anually there was a fee and also the hostel fee. The fees were divided into each semester and there were scholarship and various grants also. If anyone is of the obc or any section they have increased chances of getting grants.

The first year fee is 112350. This fees include admission fees, registration charges, examination fees, library fees, insurance fees, security deposit etc. The total for 3 years amounts to 3.18 lakhs. From my point of view the fees is really very nominal if I compared the fee structure and the course with the other big institutions in the country.

The fee of the course was affordable for me. The fee faculty was also very genuine and helpful. I never faced any problem while depositing the fee. The fee of each year was Rs.1.06 lakhs. It was feasible than other institutes.

The fee applies in the first semi-68000. Fees range from 20000-60000 depending on the practical work and other costs of each semester, and fees may vary. Scholarships are awarded to students of the S/C category and non-OBC non-rural layer students with lower annual income than OBC.
