I wanted to become a doctor but was unable to get MBBS admission as my cutoff was marginally less. Hence, I opted for BDS at Saveetha Dental College after my counselling session. The college had experienced teachers, dedicated supporting staff, an ample number of patients and frequent tests.
As the college has a hospital itself so the course curriculum is almost based on the practical experience. We get practical knowledge about each and every topic at every point of studies. Many exams also takes place from time to time so that the students performance can be judged
It was a three year course with loads of practicals and theory classes along with internship programme where we students of MDS were offered a stipend amount of Rs.35,000 per month. Faculties were very friendly and also supportive.
The fee structure in MDS degree varies according to the specialization i.e - clinical or non-clinical. Clinical is slightly more expensive than the non-clinical courses. My course fee is INR 1,500,000 per year which totals to INR 45 lakhs in a course of 3 years.
I'm charged a sum of INR 800,000 annually as my course fee. It sums up to INR 24 lakhs in 3 years. Apparently, it seems to be a lumpsum amount, but it is justified in terms of the quality of education and other facilities provided to us.
Fee structure is possible without capitation.2 lakhs 50 thousand. Examination fees are charged separately and on an annual basis. Separate tuition fees, equipment, and book charges. The college provides great facility in this amount.
You get what you pay for. Fees are neither practical nor expensive. This is similar to other private colleges. Due to the influx of patients, you will learn more at Savita than other private colleges. At the end of the year, you know the value of what you paid for.
The fee structure is very feasible, when compared to other medical colleges. The fees is approximately Rupees 75,000 per year. College also provides scholarship to merit students. Students from economically unstable families are also provided concession on fees.
The fees for the course is Rs.15,00,000. Which is comparatively feasible than other colleges providing the same degree. Based upon our performance we are also given scholarship which encourages us to perform well in our research work.
