Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for BDS Candidates seeking admission to the 1year BDS degree course shall satisfy the following requirements:
- A pass in HSC Examination ( 10+2 curriculum of the Government of Tamilnadu)
- A pass in any examination of any university or authority accepted as equivalent to the above qualification with a minimum
- A number of attempts to pass the qualifying examination and improvements for all the courses coming under medicine will be adopted as per the latest Government Orders in force.
- Age Limit - Candidates should have completed 17 years of age on December 31st of the year of admission.
- Age shall be determined based only on the date of birth as given in SSLC / HSC or an equivalent examination certificate.
- In addition to the requirements mentioned above the qualifying criteria assessed through a common entrance examination conducted by Meenakshi University shall be followed.

The curriculum is apt for students. Our college has a separate app for students that staff use to post videos of the previous lecture as well ppt will be there. it will be very useful to study during exams if we have doubts we can consult the respective staff according

- I really like how our college gives us a lot of clinical experience which helps me to develop and learn better communication .
- The educational opportunities provided to us are a lot there are frequent seminars and presentations being conducted which helps me to overcome stage fear . They also provide me with a lot of research opportunities.

- The campus is quite small but it is well facilitated with all the necessary lab facilities
- The library does not have a lot of resources
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course it gives me a space where I can be an artist as well as a doctor. Dentistry requires lots and lots of patience and handskills which would come only with experience. It gives me the respect and the satisfaction of helping someone in need. It might not be a life saving but it does help to create a smile and improve their quality of life. The curriculum is quite vast and difficult than people think it is. Understanding the theoretical Knowledge and application of it into practice is very important. The exams are quite difficult as people. There are both theory and practical tests which a candidate should pass. The theory exams last for 3 hrs and the practical test consists of clinical treatment and viva. There could be sufficient holidays in between the exams to prepare and perform better.

I choosen this course by my own decision. Here the teaching methods are good. And we have qualified faculties. Also we have all facilities. Yearly one semester we have. Both preclinical and clinical level of studies are nice.

The circulum is well versed , teaching methods and the way of teaching is also good . There is presentations preperad and library facilities with lots of books are available . The staffs help us in gaining knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:
BDS is common but it is different..we can explore and learn much. It is really interesting when it comes to tooth. Because so many things are hidden. Apart from dental, we learn little equal to MBBS. It is interesting and different..we gain also knowledge from doing scientific summits, poster presentations, and also from ICMR.

I choosed this course because I wanted to make as much possible people aware of oral.hygiene is as important.wanted to relief the pain from people ... We will have monthly tests in each subject...so that we will be prepared before we take up our university exams

The course is highly relevant to the current developments in the field of dentistry. The academic curriculum is split between 4 years for easy understanding and learning. It would help us excel clinically

There are 6 basic science departments with approximately 5 - 8 teaching staff each and there are 10 departments for dental. Each department has approximately 10-15 doctors who are in various posts like tutors, readers, lecturers, professors, HOD, etc, and also 10- 15 nonteaching staff in each department. The best thing and unique feature of my college are that every month end we used to have exams of all the subjects we are going to appear in the exam. In MADC that is not the case and tests are immediately evaluated and marks will be sent. No unnecessary spending of money in this college.
Fee Structure And Facilities:
The fee structure were little bit expensive but not much. I can say that its bearable. Yes, you can pay your fee at loan basis also. You can take education loan from a reputed nationalised bank (from any bank).
