About PAJANCOA & RI
Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru College of Agriculture (PAJANCOA) was established on 2 October, 1987 at Karaikal in the Union Territory of Puducherry, as an autonomous educational institution by the Government of Puducherry with the prime objectives of imparting agricultural education and meeting the agricultural research and extension needs of the Union Territory. This college was upgraded as Research Institute (PAJANCOA&RI) in 1997. The Postgraduate degree programmes are being offered from the academic year 1999-2000. Considering the importance of Horticulture, B.Sc.(Horti.) degree programme is introduced from the academic year 2016-17. This institute is governed by PAJANCOA (Karaikal) society with the Chief Secretary, Govt. of Puducherry as the Chairman. This institute was affiliated to TNAU until 2014. From the year 2015-16, the institute is affiliated to the Pondicherry University, Puducherry for meeting its academic standards.

- Mostly I like the surrounding environment such as paddy fields,agroforestry,etc
- Next I like the main building of the college which looks good
Dislikes
- Next I dislike the hostel food which is not good
- Lastly I don't like the college and hostel building infrastructure and besides this toilets which is in poor condition

The eligibility of this course is biology group and the students are selected based on merit mark and also from community based,the admission fee is 20000 for both regular and management seat,the application date will be intimated after completion of third round in centac website

- And also I like the greenish paddy fields which makes me always fresh

The eligibility is the student should undergone biology group after attaining seat you can directly come to college and proceed the admission process.The admission fee is 20000 and there is 3 exams per semester.Seat is given based on both community and 12th mark

- Infrastructure is better, environment friendly,they have to practice many things
- Staff are well educated upto Phd graduation staff
Dislikes
- Hostel is not maintained properly food also so bad
- Cleaning is very poor maintained and untidy

Actually there is no cutoff especially, the marks obtained by the 1st mark students will be considered from that and the other student also get seat from centac and self support, so that 60 merit and 60 self support will be obtained

- I am happily say that my college is best for sports it offers various opportunities for us to engage in various games
- Other than this,I like my hostel very much because it is a place for learning good friendship besides communication skills
Dislikes
- First I am very worried about the fee structure of this college it is huge comparing to other colleges
- Lastly I dislike the hostel food which is poor in taste

As I said earlier,total there is 120 seats half is given for merit candidates who is selected by applying in centac website, remaining is for management kota and there is no entrance exam expect Pg programme just 12th mark is enough

- Good infrastructure and good lab facility, experienced professor, smartboard facilities, library, good sports facilities like football, cricket, volleyball, Kabaddi, ball badmiton, badminton, table tennis court, experienced faculty members, hostel.

- The surroundings and the atmosphere of this college is good and I would like to go for walk daily to energize the outer air behind my boys hostel.And there will be always peacocks roaming here and there that adds a scenic beauty as well as the fields
- The greenish paddy fields during monsoon season looks like a green cover grassland that adds a additional beauty to that site which also makes us fresh everyday,the trees such as jamun that is grown on the nearby agri-fields provides jamun fruits
Dislikes
- The fees structure of this college is comparatively higher
- The infrastructure facilities of this college is poor

The admission process is same as like in other govt colleges,we have to provide the essential documents such as Xerox copies of marksheets of 10,11,12th,centac allotment order,Transfer certificate,Caste certificate,etc.The seats allotment to this college is purely merit-based and community based.

- The class schedule is very tight and attendance is strictly notrd

Total 120 seats and the selection process is purely based on merit. 60 seats are under government centac quota 30 seats is puducherry self supporting and other state quota 10 is for NRI QUOTA and so 10 seats icar quota

Eligibility, of course, is the completion of 12th with mathematics and biology or vocational in agriculture. The application process is through the centac of Pondicherry university. There is a reservation for obc sc st sports freedom fighter's quota. Other than merit, there are payment seats and NRI special seats.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Overall a good college to study academics are well planned with perfect schedule of practical work and learning by working and experience collection through realtime working in field. The all India tour was excellent in this course
Admission:
For counseling, i went to pondicherry university campus in pondicherry.I will be waiting for more than 6 hrs at 5.00 clock they call those who are applied in agriculture courses When i am attending this online course 3 rd counseling only , our institute allotted 30 seats only, they call one by one, 1st they call Andhra states student securing more marks after that they call everyone actually its based only on board marks those who obtaining high marks i am not expected i got seat from pajancoa because more than that of students behind me, and they call my name and finally got my provisional allotment I received my seat last counseling at last one of others. Finally, i got that seat in my campus
