GIMS Greater Noida, also known as the Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), is a reputed government college for pursuing Medical Studies. It was established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh on February 15, 2016 in Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.

GIMS Greater Noida offers three undergraduate courses, namely MBBS, B.Sc Nursing and Paramedical and two postgraduate courses in MD/MS. Admission to the courses is based on the clearance of NEET-UG and NEET-PG. The duration of the MBBS course is 5.5 Years, and the duration of the MD course is 2 Years. The duration of the BSc Nursing course is 4 years with a course fee of INR 1,15,500. The duration of the Paramedical course is 2 years with a course fee of INR 24,000.

Students planning to seek admission to MBBS need to clear the NEET-UG examination. Candidates seeking admission to MD must have cleared the NEET-PG examination. Students clearing NEET-UG and NEET-PG, respectively, then apply for Uttar Pradesh state counselling conducted by DMET, Lucknow. For admission to the B.Sc Nursing course, an individual has to clear CNET and then apply for counselling conducted by Atal Bihari Medical University. For admission to the Paramedical course an individual has to undergo counselling conducted by Uttar Pradesh State Medical faculty.

For taking admission in my college you to qualify NEET exam with good marks , in my session 2022 the last cut off to take admission is 630 and rank is around 9000 AIR. The NEET exam held on every year in month of may. The area of improvement is counselling process.

Admission process is typically First You need to crack entrance exam Then you have to go through, a very hectic process of counselling Also NEET(entrance exam) is conducted by NTA conduct exam 1 time in a year And I think the frequency should increase atleast for 2 time

I gave NEET exam after qualifying class 10 and got 641/720 . This exam is conducted by NTA and gives reservations for OBC SC ST categories. It requires 17 years of age of the candidates before 31 December of the year in which exams has to be conducted.

The course is of 5 years duration and it is an netrance exam called NEET which is held once a year. Ita cutoff was around 137 and 2 types of counselling processes are there , one state and one all india

The admission will be done on the basis of rank obtained in the NEET UG exam. The selection is done at around 635-650 marks or 5000-6500 rank. It is variable according to the difficulty of the paper and the popularity of the college.

Eligibility criteria: neet UG. For the general category, the min percentile is 50 percentile and lower in other categories. For admission in GIMS, a candidate should participate in AIQ counseling if outside up and if a candidate has a state quota then he/she has to participate in state counseling.

NEET UG is the exam that is needed to be qualified to get admission to this college. Not only to qualify but to also get a good rank on all India levels is important. There is a reservation. No such improvement is required.

The course is eligible for neet qualifying candidates. NEET is one of the competitive exams that medical aspirants have to take to mark themselves as eligible to study medicine in India. The college is allotted via the counseling procedures conducted by the MCC and the respective state medical council, for eg- updgme in Uttar Pradesh.
