Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission into Diploma courses, a candidate must fulfill the following conditions:-

1. Must appear and qualify in the Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) for admission into Diploma Courses' offered by State Council for Technical Education, Assam for the concerned academic session as notified by the DTE, Assam.

2. For admission into Diploma Courses the candidate must pass the H.S.L.C. or its equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subject with 40% marks (Average) in Mathematics and Science for General candidates 35% marks (Average) in Mathematics and Science for SC candidates 33% marks (in Average) in Mathematics and Science for ST Candidates.

3. Age Limit: Candidates must bear on or after General SC/ST For all courses except Modern Office Management 01-08-1997 01-08-1994 For Modem Office Management 01-08-1995 01-08-1992

4. Medical Standard: A candidate should be physically fit and mentally sound and should possess the minimum physical standard.

5. Residential Eligibility: Candidates must be Indian citizens and Permanent residents of Assam.

Education quality is very good . Teachers are very helpful in every condition
College campus is very good. And campus buildings distance is also very minimal.

Dislikes

Some laboratories are not modern they follow the old process.
Place of the college is in very dens area. Sound of bus and other noise are enter the campus .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mechanical Engineering is a very good course in engineering and it has a very huge amount of future scope. In AEI faculty members are very helpful. In every step they are helpful. The teaching quality is also very good and modern type. Semester exams are organized very well. and results declared in time class also start in routine time.

The fees structure is affordable by the students and is designed as per the guidelines of the Assam government. It is feasible and mostly the students pay their fees even by working part time. As per the fees structure, they deliver the education system to the students.

The total fee is around Rs 5.93 thousands. This is a decent fee achievable by most of the students and moreover the quality of education provided by them is tremendous at such a low fee and this attracts application of students from all around the country.
