MBBS is a great course and who doesn't like to hear 'Doctor, thanks for saving my life'. The best part of MBBS is the exposure and satisfaction it gives. In AMC, the student-teacher ratio is good and is about 1:20 in practical, 1:10 in clinical postings, and 1:100 during lectures. Faculties are well-renowned doctors of society who also share a passion for passing on knowledge to the next generation. Due to such good teachers, exams become very easy to crack, but one definitely has to burn his/her midnight oil to pass through. Pass marks are 50% in each subject theory and practical.

MBBS is a dream of lakhs of students in India and I am no different. I worked really hard to get myself enrolled in this prestigious 100-year-old Medical College of India. Student-Teacher Ratio during lectures is around 125:1 and during practicals and small-group Discussions is about 20:1. Faculty in all medical colleges are well qualified as they themselves are doctors first and then a professor. Most of them have done their MD/MS degree from renowned Medical Institutes of India including AIIMS, JIPMER, PGI etc. The teaching method is a bit monotonous during lectures because most of the professors teach passively using a presentation, but real teaching happens in Laboratories and Clinical Postings where we actually see the purpose of our studies. Term Exams are one of the most dreaded things in most medical colleges as they make really tough to test the real understanding of the students in a particular subject. Passing criteria is 50% marks in both Theory & Practicals.

I choose this course as I was always interested in this course right from my 10th class Faculty are Excellent and a batch of students consists 250 members we get 3 departments right in the 1st year like anatomy, physiology and biochemistry and each department has nearly 10-12 teaching staff and other non-teaching staff and 5 pg members for each department to make us understand the topics Teachers are very highly qualified and there is a Curriculum based teaching right from the start Semesters are conducted every 3/4 months and papers are moderately prepared based on the students knowledge
MBBs is an life time goal for me , The faculty student ratio is 1:25 For every 25 students will be provided a professor Every faculty is well qualified with good knowledge Examination is conducted every year with practicals
The internship will be in KGH hospital. One year of compulsory internship. 20k stipend will be paid. One can also work in private hospitals once you finish the internship.
A class will be for 200 students. Recently they are dividing into 2 batches of 100. There is nothing specific about faculty: student ratio. Doctors will be taking classes. All 4 years of theory classes will be taken regularly in the afternoon sessions expect the first year. Clinical and ward rounds will be started from 2nd year. Semester examination pattern every 6 months will be conducted as usual.
It's very difficult to get pass because we have to struggle very hard and the syllabus is vast we have to focus more to get passed
Being a government institution fees structure is completely feasible for all students. Its not verh expensive and is according to the reservations. Also some scholarships are alloted to the deserving students. The fees are around Rs 30000 per semester.
At the admission time, the fee paid for a year was Rs. 55,000 which was quite feasible. The course duration is 5 years and a 6-month internship is also mandatory for getting placed. Total fee for the course was around Rs. 2,75,000.
