A general day looked like 9 am to 5 pm for college every Monday to Saturday. With evenings allocated to practical’s conducted in college itself. We also had lectures that were conducted by external faculties and we had to travel across to other colleges for these lectures. The subjects such as food science, quality control and nutrition through life cycle were relevant to the food industry. Besides regular college, I also did enroll for sensory evaluation and HACCP - Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points courses which helped me better my industrial required skill sets.

The college faculty is good, qualified, and experienced in the teaching and working industry. Guest lectures are being arranged at times by the people in the industry. The professor ensures that the subject is well understood by the students and prefers to extend help to individuals belonging to a slightly different course background. Each lecture was of minimum 60 mins to maximum of 120 mins.
All teachers are soo much educated they teaches every subject very well with very great examples and videos which makes the lecture interesting. Most of them are doing phD and some are already done with their phd.
The knowledge of faculty is good enough. Microbiology of food is being taught really well. Even food science is taught really good Food chemistry and food biochemistry are also proper. The practical for food are carried out on time and with proper pace.
Faculty is experienced with optimum knowledge in the subject they are aware of the theoretical and practical differences they are very approachable to discuss any issues.
Faculty was Good. We had three teachers for teaching 6 subjects in the final year. Two of the three faculty staff were PhD in nutrition. And all of them had a rich experience in teaching.
