Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Directorate of Distance Education, Hyderabad, Telangana, is a philanthropic institution that has given thousands of underprivileged, Urdu-speaking people access to education in India. Established in 1998, and ever since then have founded 9 Regional Centres and 5 Sub-Regional Centres across several cities in India. They provide academic support to students through 161 Study Centres under the administrative wings of these RCs and SRCs.
The Institute is NAAC accredited with an 'A' grade twice, and Outlook - ICARE rankings 2020 placed the university as the 24th best central university in India.
The University's DDE currently offers five undergraduate and six postgraduate courses and two diploma and certificate courses.
The application process for admission at any of the courses is in the online mode. Admission is based on merit and entrance tests respective to each course.

Selection Criteria
Admissions at Directorate Distance Education at Maulana Azad National Urdu University are conducted online. To apply for any of their programs, candidates need to visit the official website of Maulana Azad National Urdu University's Directorate of Distance Education.
Admissions for all the courses in the Distance mode are merit-based, except that of the B. Ed and MA Arabic courses.
How to apply?
- Visit the Admission portal at the official website of MANUU - DDE.
- Candidates need to click on the 'Admission Portal' button on the website.
- They will then have to register themselves on the portal.
- The candidate's login credentials like username and password will be generated and shared via email or SMS.
- The candidate will then have to login into their registered profiles on the Admission Portal.
- The candidate is required to fill out the application form accurately.
- Scanned documents like identity proof, academic certificates, passport-sized photographs, and signatures, among others, need to be uploaded.
- Select the desired program of choice.

Ans. The fees per annum for BA and B.Com courses is Rs. 1,700. For B. Sc Life Sciences, it is Rs. 3,100 and for Physical Sciences, it is Rs. 2,700. For B. Ed, the course fees is Rs. 15,000.

The last date for admission to Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad is June 30th 2024.
Unfortunately, MAU hyderabad doesn’t offer D.El.Ed course to the students.
Yes, B.Ed. distance mode is available in the MANUU Directorate of Distance Education.
The admissions are not open at Maulana Azad National University DDE. It is expected that admissions will resume soon and the same will be updated on the official website of university.
