Likes

Infrastructure is good if compared with other DU colleges.
Canteen is a plus point. They have two canteens. One is basically a Nescafe kiosk and the other one is full fledged canteen

Dislikes

The fees is too high as compared to other colleges. They give a reason that they have ACs. But those ACs do not work.
Sports complex is not good. We cannot get access to sports equipment like cricket bats, footballs although they have big grounds to play.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course was not that good. I basically took this course because when i applied here, the admission was based on Merit basis and i couldn't clear the cut off for political science hons. Otherwise i would have prefered thay course. There are too many students. Plus no placement oppurtunities

The things I liked abot Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa college is that it had very brilliant and experienced professor , they are always available for the quaries of all the students . And they also helps students in their research and projects .
The college has a lot of social clubs and societies like enactus .

Dislikes

The college had very old infrastructure . Its building is in real bad condition and not maintained properly.
The toilets are not cleaned regulraly and also water coolers were not cleaned regurally.

In my openion , my course curriculum was very relevant and effective . The syllabus that was taught to us was inspired from london school of economics . We had classes 6 days a week , and schedule was very tight . We had 7 lectures of corepapers in a week and 4 lectures for sec and vac.

I like the ac classroom which helps me to study with ease during summer
I like my course faculty as they are really intelligent

Dislikes

I dislike the infrastructure of my college as it's too old
Washrooms also are really very bad and dirty

Jannat is an amazing place to hang around.
The fests and societies are very positive.

Dislikes

Canteen serves very overpriced and bad food.
The washrooms are hell for the students.

The course is pretty easy to comprehend and the faculty members are very helpful and supportive. The knowledge and experience of faculty is very good but it would require the students to study the subject thoroughly for their own benefits.

I really liked the serene gurudwara of khalsa college. The societies are very nice and push you in a positive manner. You can hang out in jannat and basketball court with your friends. The exhibition of societies are extremely exciting.
The fests of different societies are very exciting.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is extremely disappointing.
Canteen is extremely bad and disappointing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science Honours in SGTB KHALSA is one of the best cousin to pursue but it depends on your interest for the subject to master it. The faculty members are very helpful but to catch up with their teaching you need to study like an actual honours students and the habit of school learning will not fetch you enough knowledge. I have rated a six here because of my own personal disinterest in the subject.

Likes

There extra curricular activities were nice, students who are intersted in dance can go to the dance department, there were many departments to explore the talent.
Some guest teachers was very nice towards the students, they helps the student in making notes, assignments and how to write in exams.

Dislikes

I disliked the rudeness of the non teaching department staff, they were not supporting and always makes everything difficult for the student, always rejected the concern
Mostly teachers were around 50 so they were not more interested in teaching, they were just coming in the class dictating the topic and giving the assignments and after that they always give minimum marks

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was more interested in political, international, rural issues so I opted for political science, curriculum was fine but they should have include a few more subjects so that the student got a chance to learn other things, curriculum is important but also the teaching methods, professors was not interested in teaching, if they will teach something then they will expect the student to knew everything about that topic which he/she has never even read, so teacher should be more generous and loving towards the students also there was issue with the Hindi medium students they were treated like backwards, that should be change. I think University should take exams three times of a year so that the student get to know about the exam method and will be engaged in studies because University is the main stair to touch the sky.

The infrastructure of my college is very wonderful, and is full of greenery. The playground of my college is the biggest.
My college classroom is very prepared branches and other light facility is available our college classrom is fully ac and furnished.

Dislikes

The canteen facilities are not good, non-hygienic food is available and the prices are also very high.
The fees of my college are very high due to which other students are unable to pay the fees.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am pursuing BA in History and Economics from Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College, Delhi University. I chose this subject because I have interest in both these subjects.There are 10 teachers in my college unlike any other faculty and they have just completed their studies from reputed universities of the country and all the teachers have obtained PhD degree in their subject.

The course is fascinating in itself, and the faculty is very good they are at minimum masters in qualification for there field so because of that they are able to provide the perfect teachings and the tough universities exam also seem to be fair enough to pass with good cgpa

Faculty: the faculty of economics and political science from which I've studied are good.
Sports facilities: sports facilities of khalsa college is of top notch.

Dislikes

Fests: there are very less events conducted in our college

I chose economics honours because I like economics and also the placement is decent in this course. Faculty student ratio is like 1:30 . All teachers are well qualified with phds and also some has worked with the government. Term exam are little early now this course is also difficult
