The kind of teachers and the curriculum, everything was just perfect under the guidelines of Mumbai University.
In the medical stream, the college has been progressive in recent years. There were many job-related interviews by different companies, and some of the best companies are still in contact for the same.

Dislikes

The recruitments do take place, wherein students have to fill up some forms and submit them to the in charges.
There are no placements from the college, at least for BSc. However, I think they have placements for IT.

The teachers are well taught and they know their job.Exclusive one on one interaction is seen.You have personal mentors with whom you can freely go and discuss about any problem including personal life.A counsellor is always available in the campus to help students in need.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Microbiology is always relevant in allied health sciences and will give you number of job opportunities. The faculty is excellent though they are a bit strict but overall it is good. All of them are M.Sc.'s and most of them are done or pursuing PhD so they are highly qualified and experienced. The teaching method is good but make sure to read relevant microbiology books and go to the library. Clear your doubts. The terms are pretty much hard you need to understand the concepts to write the paper. Half of the paper is applicative.

Placement Experience:

There are very few or no placements. But the teachers refer with other companies, of course, if you are good and talented you would not lack. But it provides one with all knowledge needed after you grad.

Remarks:

It's an all-Girls A grade institution. Better for arts than science field. B.sc is not a very good course so you are better off choosing something else. Ended up here in Sophia's due to some mistakes in my enrollment form and managed to get in by management quota. Good atmosphere, lovely gardens, great view, reputed.

The Best College In Mumbai

Remarks:

No negative comments. I loved my College and I am proud that I was a part of it. The College infrastructure, the canteen which is always the heart of any College is well maintained, hygiene place with lots of different menus. The library is the best place at top of the building. The classrooms are spacious and one. Can concentrate on there studies. The College itself is situated in a peaceful, posh environment. So there is no disturbance. Hostelites can go to chapel area for praying. Reading rooms and places are available everywhere. You can go and sit in the garden with your friends. Farewell, Convocations are carried out by the College itself which are a great part. I loved going and studying there. My enjoyable 5 years. Faculties also plan for IV trips.
