About NSS College
Established in 1965, NSS College is a Government aided Arts & Science College owned and managed by Nair Service Society. The College is affiliated to University of Calicut and is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in Malappuram District. It has been approved by AICTE and accredited Grade ‘B’ by NAAC. Presently, the college offers eight UG and three PG courses. A doctoral course in History is also available. The admission to all the courses is merit based. The college has overall 15 departments.
The college has a well built campus including all the modern facilities like Computer lab, Language lab, Gymnasium, Canteen, Zoology museum and a fully equipped seminar hall. The faculty of the college is also well experienced and believes in taking research forward.

NSS College, Kerala Admissions
The college offers UG and PG courses in various fields. The students should have completed their 10+2 from any recognized board to be eligible to take admission to the first year of UG course and for PG admission, he/she should have completed Graduation from any recognized University.
How to Apply?
- The candidates have to apply for admission and it must be made in the prescribed form which can be had from the college on payment of a registration fee of INR 30.
- Candidates seeking admission to the college from other universities should apply for recognition from the University of Calicut.
- The selected candidates are then made to appear for an interview before the principal after receiving the intimation card. The selection is provisional and is subject to confirmation after the interview and scrutiny of the certificates.
- Candidates seeking admission must produce transfer and conduct certificates from the school or college they last attended and qualifying certificates and mark list in original at the time of admission.
- Candidates selected for admission will have to pay the required tuition fees due at the time of admission, caution deposit and all other fees prescribed by the college. Fees once paid will not be returned.

I wanted to join in Govt college malappuram and other choice was PSMO thirurangadi. But i got admission herr in allotment and i started adapting myself here. Got new people and social circle. After that i got selected in my 1,2 college options, but i decided to stay here itself.

you should have atleast 60% in 12th. application form is available from the college itself. there will reservation benefit for OBC, ST AND SC. overall the admission processes are faster and its a good college

The minimum eligibility of the course is 10+2 with minimum 75%. The admission is through Calicut University CAP. The admission will be based on index scores. There is reservations for OBC,EWS,SC,ST. The allowtment will be conducted directly by university

- The free wifi zone is another attraction.students can sit and relax there.

- The college is on the top of a hill.You have to walk approximately 1km in order to reach college.
- The laboratory equipments are not enough.

I took this course because it opens a wide range of career options. Application forms can be collected from the office. There is a chance for a reservation if you are an SC/ST person. Also if you are a bright sportsman. I feel like the admission process is a bit slow. It should be improved.

Plus two is the minimum qualification. The admission under the Centralised admission process(CAP). Aspirants from the general and OBC category have to pay INR 500 and SC/ST category need to pay INR 700 as an apllication fee.

The eligibility of this course is the candidate must pass in higher secondary above 92%marks. The admission process is a single window system. That's why the admission process is easy for every person. The application fee is 485 and the application period minimum of 15 days. There are so many benefits in reserved categories.

They call for Applications from students who qualified for higher secondary during April may. We can apply through internet cafes. Need to upload mark sheets, income certificate, caste certificate, nativity certificate, Adhar card and sslc book. There is an amount paid as challan 500 or something. Seat reservations available for obc, sc and st, some Lakshadweep quota available too.

The college is very good in terms of academics and also allows for the performing in other extracurricular activities. It refreshes the minds of students. It is the best college in Kerala in my opinion.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Due to the pandemic, there is hue and cry everywhere. I received a selection mail and bought the books. Prima facie, the language of the books seem simple and readable. If not, then there is a library and internet on our mobile phones where we can get any data that is uncomprehendable.

The curriculum is based on the regulations of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, as it is affiliated to the same university. The labs are decent and well-equipped. The course consists of 8 semesters with 6 subjects in the first 6 semesters and 5 subjects in both 7th as well as 8th semester respectively.
