The curriculum is decided by KTU(Kerala Technological University). The curriculum is a bit outdated but the university changes the whole curriculum every once 4 years in order to accommodate the changing industry and career opportunities. The course helps to understand the basics of the respective branches. Even though the exams are a bit tight scheduled, appropriate study leave is given to the students.

I think the curriculum is wonderful, however some of the regulations that the university has put in place seems to be difficult for the students. I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at KTU. The syllabus primarily addresses the contemporary, industrialized world. The main issue is that you have to cover a lot of stuff in just four months, including lab exams. There is not enough time in the schedule to complete all of the assignments, project, and internal exams.
Exams were not that hard. if you study hard you can pass easily. The college has an adequate number of faculties corresponding to the number of students. I choose the course because I was interested in electronic circuits.
I chose CSE because of the future scope of this course. IT industry is undergoing constant growth and the job opportunities for skilled graduates are much better compared to other BTech courses. On-campus placement opportunities were great for CS students. The faculty: student ratio is approximately 1:5. All the faculties are qualified postgraduates. Most of them are permanent faculties and the HOD holds a PHD degree. Classes were taken and portions completed on time. There would be direct interaction between the teachers and students. Internal exams were conducted on time and with the right preparation and time, it is quite easy to obtain the pass mark. Term exams were conducted after the completion of the semester (4 months). 2 Internals were conducted after the completion of 2 modules each.
Fess and Scholarship all are as per government rules and since it is a government college all the government financial assist are available to students. The Placement cell functioning in the campus dedicates itself to help students establish their career. Companies are invited to the College to recruit final-year students. Students have received placements in MNCs like Infosys, HCL, Syntel, Larsen & Toubro, UST Global, CTS, Mindtree, Oracle, Tata Elxsi and Wipro, through the Placement cell.
Merit seat 35000/year Management seat 65000/year Bank challan is the accepted mode of fee transfer Additional charges are 12000 regarding PTA fund per year College provides transparency in fee because the institution is semi govt. Mangement section is controlled by IHRD.
Comparatively my college fee is 65000. So i got admission in merit management. But thia fee is feasible. Because the college. I have no payment is done during admission. So the fee is quite Ok. College is provide better transparency in fees breakdown. So we can trust the management.
Course Curriculum is fixed by University and professors will try to finish syllabus only. As it is a government college faculties we're not much committed to students and they usually focused on completing portions. No industry exposure was provided
There are three type of seats. Merit Management NRI For merit students the fee is 35k Management- 65k The fee structure is feasible for students from all economic classes. There is no any other fee like all other private colleges in Kerala.
Fees is not expensive consideering other colleges for merit admission it is 35000rs per year and for spot and management admission it is 60000 rs as it is a state government controlled college and there are various scholarships for students to help the pay the fees.
