Course Curriculum Overview:

We know that the law is supreme in India. This course never destroyed your career, and an advocate or lawyer knows the law no one cheats with a lawyer or advocate or barrister easily. And after this course, you can fill out the form for all government jobs like UPSC,bpsc, judiciary, etc. All faculty members who teach completed their LLM. Exam held two times a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course and at that time court life interested me tremendously. Its not college but rather school of LAW i.e. law is taught to the students as if they are learning for the first time. There were many experienced teachers who taught us not only law but other various lessons which shaped us to be better than ourselves. However very recently entire teaching faculty has changed and due to covid protocol, proper interaction with our teachers is very much lacking.

I prefer this course (BA.LLB) because in this course I have a huge job opportunity like I can become a lawyer or I can apply for the judicial service exam (wbjs) or I can also do any corporate job as a legal advisor. In every college, 120 students can take admission..so in our college ( George school of law ) per year 120 students can apply through the merit list of Calcutta University's entrance exam ..our faculty members are very helpful. Our teachers are also teaching us very well and always trying to give their best, BALLB is a great course per year we have to give two semesters during the course just we need to study well after 5 years we have to give the bar council examination and after passing we can get our license and can practice in the high court as a lawyer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum and faculty members of the college are well experienced and knowledgeable. All faculties and teachers of our college are friendly in nature, they are helpful in our studies and other staff of college also good and helpful to the students. I choose this course because I love this profession and want to become an Advocate which gives me the name, Fame and power. All 120 seats of our college are full. All teachers of our college are ph.d in law and some teachers are qualified with a master in law. And the teachers use very simple and easy language so we understood our topic easily. Every 6-7 months our semester exam held. The exam was difficult according to the university we got marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it's my aim to become a Judge and for that, I have to qualify in law and have to gather as much knowledge as I can. The faculty is really nice they always help us whenever we are in need. The student ratio in my class is approx 2:1 the boy's ratio is almost half of the girls in ratio. The faculty is highly qualified. Most of them are PhD holders. They explain the topic on the board and they give enough examples and try to relate the topic with our day-to-day life incidents so that we can remember it easily. Apart from semester exams and internals, our college conducts monthly tests. The questions usually were taken from a 10years Question paper. It's not that difficult to pass but if you want to score good marks you have to read carefully.

Actually, I want to be a good lawyer. I want to make the country as free of corruption as possible. And I think a lawyer can free the country from corruption. So I chose this course. The teachers of this college are highly qualified. They are very co-operative and helpful and also teaches dedicated, they are also very friendly with the students. They are always ready to help every student and they take classes regularly also they will make you prepare for the final exam through class tests. It is very easy to pass this exam if you study with a little mind.

Since I was in my 10th I was very eager to know about the legal aspects & our constitution. So I opted for BALLB after completing my CBSE examination. The day I got my result of the entrance examination & came to know that I got the opportunity to go to such a reputed institution like GEORGE SCHOOL OF LAW I was really overwhelmed. On my first day, I was really very excited and a little bit tensed as such respected teachers were there in front of me. But gradually I found them likey guardians sitting in front of me. George Group of College is under Calcutta University. When University declared the examination date then our examination process held. It's too not though if read properly then we got brilliant marks. My faculty members are really incredible they act like friends when we need and In this Covid_19 situation they still in touch with us through online classes. They prepare notes and they provide us with all the study materials. Also, the Geroge Group of College organised so many debates, quest and all online. We met an Advocates, Judges throughout the online participation.

200 rupees countable only for freashers candidates. But any kind of event student can participate and received certificate like mock Parliament, debete competetion, Quis competetion and many event.students are really enjoy this part beyond study.But not needed event fees.
