The Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science & Technology offers B.Tech. under the following specializations-

• Civil Engineering
• Computer Science & Engineering
• Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

Aside from the B.Tech. program, the institute also offers a Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science and Technology, and Mechanical Engineering for a duration of three years.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech. - Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 45 % mark  Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in aggregate from a recognized board

Polytechnic Diploma - Candidates must have passed secondary examination or equivalent  from a recognized board

Selection Criteria

B.Tech. - Selection is done on the basis of merit scored by the candidate WBJEE/JEE Mains.
Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech in various disciplines must be a valid rank holder in JEE Mains/WBJEE. Those who do not have JEE Mains/WBJEE rank can also apply for admission to this institute if there are vacant seats after counselling according to the norms of present Govt. of West Bengal.

For B.Tech lateral entry in 2nd year 3rd semester, candidates must have completed diploma in engineering with an average of 60% without any backlog from a recognized institute approved by AICTE. Candidates also need to have a valid rank in JELET.

Polytechnic Diploma- Admission will be granted on the basis of merit.

How to apply for admission in B.Tech at SVIST?

• Visit the official site of JEE mains
• Candidates have to click on ‘Application form for JEE Main’
• Click on the fresh registration and choose new registration
• After reading the instructions carefully, tick the box and tab ‘Click here to proceed’
• Fill out all the personal details like candidate’s name, Gender, DOB, father’s name, mother’s name and other details carefully
• Also fill out the contact details like address, pin code, email address, phone number, name of city etc.
• Select a security question with answer and also choose a password
• Candidates must have to remember the security question with the answer for future reference
• A security pin will be displayed which the candidates need to enter at the required place and click on submit
• Candidates will receive an application number after the successful registration
• Login using the application number and the password
• Candidates need to enter the required details like name of paper, personal details, exam city preference, details of education, medium of exam paper, details of parent’s income etc.
• After carefully filling out all the details, tick the declaration
• Click on Final Submit
• Upload all the required scanned images of documents, photograph, signature according to the defined guidelines  by NTA
• Make the payment of JEE Main registration by net banking or debit card or credit card or Paytm or UPI
• Print out the confirmation page after the successful payment
• Download the admit card and appear in the exam
• Counselling will be done based on the merit scored in the exam

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 50% marks from a recognized institute or university

Selection Criteria

Admission is done based on the merit scored by the students in the entrance test like MAT.

Candidates seeking admission in MBA courses must have a valid score in MAT/JEMAT/CMAT. Those who have cleared any of those entrance tests are eligible for admission to this institute.

• Visit the official site of AIMA i.e. aima.in
• Candidates have to click on Fresh candidates
• Fill out all the required details carefully to create login credentials
• Click on Submit button
• Candidates will get a confirmation of registration on their email id.
• After receiving the registration number candidates need to login with their registration ID
• Fill out all the asked details carefully in the application form
• Click on Save for saving the details
• Candidates can edit the information by logging in and need to click on save after editing
• Upload the signature and recent passport size photograph. Follow the format and size they have mentioned.
• Click on submit
• Candidates need to select their test centre and proceed for application fee payment
• Payment can be done through online mode using net banking, debit card, credit card or Paytm
• Candidates can view the details  by clicking on View application
• Take a print copy of the application form for further details
