This college is in urban area so roads are not so good
Placement cell need to be better so students get more opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview :

Basically every courses are available in this college like computer science and engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering.

Class Size : 4Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Students get internship opportunities but not all students get that and college give few internships to students, so students need to get internship from outside the college if they want to work as an intern.

Placement Experience :

Placements are good, lot of companies come here but not popular companies. Basically startup companies come here and not everyone got their placement, so i think the placement cell need to be better and give placements to more students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees structure in this college is a bit on higher side. For cse , ece college charges 4 lacs for regular students and for lateral students they charges above 3 lacs, but for other departments they charge above 2 lacs for regular students and for lateral students fees is between 1.8 lacs to 2.2 lacs. College also provide scholarship for students who has good score.

Campus Life :

Campus is good but not so huge. In college campus there are a basketball court, a vollyball ground and a pool which is not usable just for show. All classrooms are good and clean and also all classrooms has air conditions.

Admission :

Admission process varry on how many seats available. If seats are less then admission fees will increase and if seats are available which is not gonna be happen. But faculty members are very helpful and they help when students need them.

Review of IEM Kolkata, a strict Engineering College.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placements after the sixth semester. The companies that generally visit us for placements are TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Oracle, IBM and some other ones. The highest package offered through last years is 22 Lacs Per Annum and on average it is 4-5 LPA. 90% students on average get placed Every year. My plans after getting the Degree is to pursue Freelancing Full Time and Become a Web Designer.

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards become eligible for campus placements TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and Redhat are just a few examples of some service-based companies that offer placements to uem kolkata students. The highest package was 72 LPA and the average was 8.8 LPA. Almost 70-80% got placed. After getting the degree I want to be a javascript developer
