The faculties were quite good, teachers were very helpful specially the HOD. Insdustral exposure is more or less good. We were taken to electrosteels and Hyundai showroom for one day training The teachers take surprise test.
The course facilities are good enough to provide quality education to students. Academically, the college is well-reputed, and even the college focuses on other extracurricular activities too. The infrastructure and labs are updated with the latest equipment to provide students the latest technology. Almost all the faculty members are from well-reputed college and holding a good professional studying skill, a degree which made easy for a student to learn within all aspects.
I choose this course because I have a great interest in drawing and mechanics. The professors are friendly and very supportive. Faculty: student ratio would be 1:10, for every 10 students there's one mentor. There are 6-7 faculty members for each semester excluding lab in charges'. Most of them have completed at least their post-graduate degree. The hierarchy is based on their qualification and experience. The teaching method is outdated. In each semester there are two internal examinations and one end semester examination. Exams are purely based on textbook knowledge and there's no need to use any practical knowledge. If you have good attendance and you consistent then passing semester exams won't be that difficult.
The course and curriculum are well designed and the subject selections for each semester are quite good. The faculties are very much helpful and understanding and it's indeed a very enjoyable moment with them. The semester examinations are held on time and there is plenty of time to take breaks and to do something innovative. In the 3rd year, there is an extra month gap provided in order to complete internships from various renowned organizations. The faculty is to student ratio is quite good. The students are regularly monitored by the faculties in a group of 10 and they guide us to our path of engineering glory.
I choose this course because Mechanical Engineering syllabus covers the basic grounds of almost all the other braches. In our department, often the class is divided into two to three groups so that good faculty-student ratio like one to thirty can be maintained. All the faculty members of our department are well-qualified and aware. Frequently our Principle, Dean and HOD visit our classes to make sure students are comfortable and gaining from the teaching method and the environment. Semester exams are held under the observation of college professors, strictly following the academic calendar published at the beginning of the year.
I wanted to opt for mechanical engineering because I always heard from people that this stream is not for girls. But I want to prove that a girl can also pursue mechanical engineering as higher education. Faculties are well trained here and also they are good. Tests are conducted as well. We have 2 slot tests and one-semester exam.
They accepted only demand draft as their fee. There were no additional charges to be paid to the college to secure my admission to my course. There were transparency in the fee breakdown. College administrator provided us the total fee structure at the beginning of the curriculum.
Fees structure is feasible for all students to compare to other institutes. all types of payment methods are available in this college in which online mode has greater priority at the counselling time for securing sit in this college take some charges but after that, this charge is added in the first semester fees.
The fee structure is quite impressive and not much as compared to other colleges situated in Kolkata. The college does not charge extra money on behalf of exhibitions or events held. Earlier the college only accepted payments through demand draft but nowadays it has gone fully digital and online payment systems are introduced. No extra fees is asked by the college to book the seats as per my knowledge. The college is quite transparent in fee breakdown but I have heard from seniors that they take a lot of time to return the caution money which is taken during admission.
The fee structure is very transparent. At the time of admission, a student needs to deposit approximately 85000 rs which includes 1st sem fees, exam fees, book bank, uniform and all miscellaneous fees. At other sem, the fees are approximately 45000 rs. There are a demand draft and online payment facilities. The student has to pay hostel fees separately.
