The fees at our college is quite affordable.
College has wifi facility enabled for students.

Dislikes

Our college does not have strong placement support.The tnp cell is trying their best to bring companies in college but hardly 2-3 companies visits our college every year
The buildings of our college is aging and requires maintenance.Also our college frequently experiences power outages.

Admission:

The admission process was pretty smooth. It took nearly a day to complete the entire admission process. The application form is available in student section and admission process takes place in the month of July.Admission is given in our college based on cgpet exam conducted in month of May. This exam is pretty much simple and easy to crack.

Admission:

For admission one need to appear for CGPET exam and score around 50-70 percentile in the exam to get admission in my college the cutoff varies for different branches. The exam is a MCQ type so it's not really that tough to crack.

Admission:

To get admission to GEC Bilaspur you have to give a competition exam called PET organized by Chhattisgarh Vyapam. By the score of the PET, scorecard students can be shortlisted for admission to three GECs of the state. The admission process can be done by the Chhattisgarh Directorate of Technical Education website.

Admission:

I am an engineering student from Government engineering College Bilaspur, and my journey till now in college was so amazing and insightful. I really learned much more concepts and skills and also developed my various qualities like leadership, communication, and public speaking skills. This college is a state government-owned college in which all girl students get free education without any pay off fee. The admission starts with the application filling of the CGPET exam, yes it takes all the admission with the help of CGPET rank and takes admission for students outside the Chhattisgarh based on JEE mains percentile. And the specific rank range was decided for admission in a particular branch. The proper college visit and counseling session were provided by the Directorate of technical education and all students who get admission in their branches are allowed to join the college at the provided date. There is four quotas provided from the start where GEN, OBC, SC, ST are there.

Admission:

I applied for Government engineering College Bilaspur Chhattisgarh. You can take Admission through PET(pre-engineering test) exam or JEE test exam. You have to clear your board's exam if you want to apply in our college. Then you have to crack PET and you have to apply for college counseling then If you are eligible counseling team allot you a seat and gives you a chance to take admission to your provided college and respective branch. You have to take admission in the given time period. If you can't able to take admission then your seat got reject.

Admission:

PET qualified well-scored person take addmission in our college. My rank in PET 2116. A normal process like other colleges. Documents like PET scorecard, 12th, and 10th Marksheet, Cast certificate, Domicile certificate, if you are Categery person then you submit income certificate. That's all.

Admission:

I already wanted to get into Gec Bilaspur, the reason being that it was the college in my city itself so I need not leave my place and go somewhere else to study. Another thing was the decent fee structure, as it is a college aided by the state government of chhatisgarh , students can pursue them. Btech degree by paying so less for the degree. Earlier ,the college or let's say the university, provided the degree of BE to it's students but now when we are getting the same degree in this college and plus from the same university , what's wrong in getting into it ; after all wherever you reside you'll have to make Equal efforts to achieve something. Till the date I was allotted a seat in the college ,I took admission at the CEC bilaspur but later withdrew. Next talking about the admission, so this is possible by appearing in the cgpet examination conducted purposely for the admission into engineering colleges in Cg. There is a certain cutoff for every branch based on the no. of seats that year.

Admission:

Government Engineering College Bilaspur is one of the top colleges in Chhattisgarh with the most experienced faculties n lab facilities. It also has a library providing books from every field n also an E-library. We also have a placement and training cell which helps students in getting training and internship opportunities during the semester and organizes placement drives. Admission is done on two criteria. either through JEE mains ranking or through CG-PET ranking. CG-PET exams are conducted by state authorities n occur in the month of April. The admission process starts in late May n goes till mid-July. Apart from academic... cultural and technical fests are organized annually. It takes place in the month of March in even semesters. Annual sports are also organized in February. The college comes under CSVTU (Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University). The semester exams are conducted under the university.
