While the teachers knew their stuff, sometimes there were issues in communication that made it a bit tricky to fully grasp complex subjects.

No ragging environment and good support if you get ragged by any chance.
Decent number of events take place which helps to improve technical and non technical skills

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not that much good. They should increase the dimension of class.
They don’t focus of virtual teaching. Like through smart board or projector.

From 7th semester student get eligible for campus placements Companies like IBM AMAZON DELOITTE DELL GOOGLE visited and Around 5000 placement offers were made by 500 companies (including big and small companies also including mass recruiter and startups) Highest package was of 45Lakhs and average package was around 4-5lakhs 80% of the students who scored 7+CGPA in college exam used to get placed I will prepare to get campus placement or off campus placement after completing degree

My experience at Chandigarh Engineering College - Landran has been both enriching and challenging.
The campus life at CEC is vibrant, fostering a sense of community and providing ample opportunities for extracurricular activities.

Dislikes

One notable drawback was the occasional lack of clarity in the course structure, which could have been more transparent and aligned with industry demands.
Although the campus life was lively, there were times when the facilities needed better upkeep, affecting the overall experience for students.

Placement Experience:

We start looking for jobs in the seventh semester, and many good companies come to our college. Big companies like Capgemini, IBM, Vienna Advantage offer different kinds of jobs. Some people get really good pay, like 26 LPA, and on average, it's around 6.5 LPA. A lot of students get job offers, which is great. If someone doesn't want to do campus placements, the college helps us get better at finding jobs by teaching us new skills and giving career advice. After I finish my degree, I'm thinking my future Scope is growing on Backend Developer, based on what I've learned in college.

Low fee for semester like for a lower middle class it was great.

Also placement is not that great like more then half of students are unpleased.

If I dive into the topic of placement at our college it's a bit of mixed bag while there are reasons to be critical and their also some positive aspects let's break it down first challenges with placement our college faces challenges in term of placement opportunity the colleges effort in providing placement assistant might not be as robust as we like additionally being a private institution it does not offer financial ad which can be a drop it for some students comparing to other colleges despite the challenges our college manage to perform reasonable well compared to other institution many student receive placement offer range from 3lpa to 8lpa with an average around 4LPM.

Campus size is large enough as compared to no. of students.
Fountains and statues in campus are very attractive.

Dislikes

All theory rooms do not have AC only labs hav AC facility.
Travelling distance between blocks and hostels.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements in the 7th semester. Microsoft, Google, Walrus, and many more companies for placements. The highest international placement is 1.6 Cr average of 8 LPA. 86 percent got placement.

Hectic schedule of the college is very depressing.
75% attendance rule is make the schedule more hectic.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for the campus placements. The companies that visit the campus for placements are Amazon , Google, Microsoft, Wipro etc.The no. Of offers made during the placement season was around 400. The highest package offered was 45.5 lakhs and average package is around 7 lakhs . Around 60-70% students get placement the college. My plans is get into Amazon as SDE 1 and be there in the field for my whole life.
