teachers are nice and co-oprative and helpful in nature
college campus is pretty there is special hall to sit in free lectures

Dislikes

canteen food isnt good it tastes average.
the campus isnt that big as compared to other colleges

i was always intersted in doing economics so i decided to take economics in b.a.The curriculum is good enough to make u ready for job for persue masters further.the teaching methods of techers is good but its bit slow we dont get enough revise syllabus again.we have exams twice an year

Reasons to choose DD jain college

Likes

Teachers in bca department have a very friendly relationship with their students. A personal bond is developed with them.
Comouters are uo to date. Technical department does their work perfectly. Even if you face any issue Rakesh Bhaiya is always there to check

Dislikes

Theory rooms does not have ac. Sometimes even fans are not working properly. Alot of humidity in these rooms.
They charge fees for parking area which is underdeveloped. It is always dirty. Tins in the ceiling of parking are broken.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is still lack of practical knowledge. More focus is given on theory. No new experiments related to field are done to increase the knowledge of students. Theory is taught with excellence. You will literally have points on your fingertips. Practical is done but only from books. In the computer field i personally feel you need to step out of the box to prepare for real world. One cannot rely only on books. They conduct tests on regular basis. After commencement of every semester within 10 days you have your first test. Till Mid sem exams they already take tests of almost half of the syllabus with is one of the best things because it helps a lot in preparation for final exams.

Batch size is small that's why teachers give attention on every student
They have Supportive faculty for students

Dislikes

Their is no placement scene even they don't provide any career guidance through seminar
All faculty are good but some of them are just their to complete the course and that's it

Course Curriculum Overview:

At the time of admission they give me advice about the course wisely then I opt this course. Yes, their some curriculum which prepares me for real world like entrepreneurship because they provide us one company visit which help us to learn various things. Exam itself is taken by panjab university so the difficulty level is moderate. Frequency of exam is it took place after 4-5 months as all semester exams happens you won't have 6 months time for it. Area of suggestion: College should need to build students with effectiveness if they will provide the career seminar and certificate course along this then it will helps the students and in conclusion I would like to tell you they need to help the students with on campus placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall, the course curriculum was more theoretical and less practical. It was easy to understand. However, I felt there should be more practical knowledge because only theoretical knowledge is not enough for future prospects.

Placement Experience:

As I have done BA from this college and to get a job B. ED is necessary that's why I didn't get any job. But various reputed business houses visit the campus and offer opportunities to the students. Extension lectures are also arranged by inviting professional consultants.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose B.com because I want to become an accountant. The teacher-student ratio is 1:60. Teachers are good and UGC qualified and teach us in a good manner Exams are moderately difficult and as per the university norms.
