The previous year's NEET UG closing cutoff ranks for MBBS at GMC Akola under the All-India Quota were as follows: 23116 for General, 23393 for OBC, 124638 for SC, and 165058 for ST categories. The closing cutoff ranks for students seeking admission under Maharashtra State Quota were 29050 for General, 31226 for OBC, 98293 for SC, and 261184 for ST categories in 2023. GMC Akola accepts a minimum qualifying score from NEET UG for admission to MBBS, with state-level counseling following next. The college grants admission to MD/MS students based on their performance on the national entrance exam, NEET PG. GMC Akola Admission to MD/MS is based on NEET PG score. To take part in the NEET PG Counselling process one must clear the minimum NEET PG cutoff.

How to Apply for GMC Akola Admission?

The admission to MBBS and MD/MS at GMC Akola is based on NEET UG and NEET PG scores. Candidates from the state of Maharashtra will have to apply for admission to GMC Akola using the Maharashtra State Quota. 85% of the MBBS seats and 50% of the PG seats are reserved for the Maharashtra state candidates. All-India Quota is capped at 15% for MBBS and 50% for PG seats. Hence Candidates belonging to any other State except Maharashtra can apply through the All-India Quota which includes the remaining 15% UG and 50% PG seats respectively.

Candidates seeking admission under All-India Quota have to apply for MCC NEET Counselling for admission at GMC Akola.
For State-Quota seats, candidates have to register for Maharashtra NEET Counselling conducted by the State CET Cell.
The seats will be allocated through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted in three rounds.
Candidates need to fill in the application form carefully as per the official brochure.
The application fee is INR 1000 for Maharashtra NEET UG Counselling and INR 3000 for Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling.
During the choice-filling window, candidates need to fill in the choices as per preference.

The college is of 2002 so it is quite old and all the departments are well established and the professors have a lot of experience.
Every year good events are organized by the college like ganesh Chaturthi , shivaji maharaj jayanti and sports tournament are held from college and organising committee

The city is not developed, there are very few places to visit here.
The mess food is not very good, it is average and there is some toxicity in the college.

One has to clear NEET exam for government college eligibility Whose cut off continues to increase. When I took admission in 2022, I appeared for the 2nd round of college exam. My rank was 15000 and I had 612 marks And if you are from SC and ST category then your work will be marked with reservation The rank marks mentioned above are as per OBC category and All India Counselling.

GMC Akola - Positives n Negatives

Faculties of our college are cooperative. Hostel facility is available within the campus along with mess. A mini Gym is also available in hostel. Hostel and college premises are under proper security .
College has 2 libraries with proper air-conditioning. Hospital has good patient load , so our practice gets easier. Senior junior bond is well maintained. College is located at the centre of city, so all possible stuffs are easily accessible.

The campus is not much vast. College one two small grounds ,one for volleyball and one for basketball. For cricket and football we need to approach turfs aur other grounds.
Extra curricular activities are less focused.

Eligibility - Cutoff set on the basis of NEET UG exam held by NTA. Application form - mahacet.com The benefits of reservation are the cutoff value will be little low as compared to OBC and Open. Even you will get consetaion in fee. Exam - occurs only once in year.

To get Admission I had to crack the NEET exam which is after 12th. And it's MBBS course I wanted to be a doctor. If we got selected in exam then college is alloted acoording to marks and we had to take admission there. Then we have to submit our 10, 12 marksheet and age certificate and all the documents required and if in other round we got selected to other college then we have to take out admission from 1st college and have to join the other we got selected.
