Doctorate of Medicine [MD] (Biochemistry) From CMC Vellore, Vellore

Candidates having qualified for the M.B.B.S degree and obtained full registration, having completed their compulsory rotating residential internship before the starting date of the courses, are eligible to apply for the postgraduate diploma and degree courses. Candidates having qualified with a postgraduate diploma, may also apply for the postgraduate degree (MS/MD) course in the same subject. Post Diploma candidates with a diploma in the same subject will undergo 2 years of training for the degree.

The college offers MD, MS and PG Diploma courses at the postgraduate level. The duration of MD and MS courses is three years while PG Diploma is for one-year. In order to seek admission in MD & MS, the candidates have to qualify in NEET PG followed by a fitness test.

Note: All PG courses offered by the college are termed as in-service programs. CMC offers INR. 25000/- as a stipend to the students enrolled in these courses.

Admission to all the above-mentioned programs will be granted on the basis fo the candidate’s performance in NEET PG followed by a Medical Fitness Test.
