Course Curriculum
I am currently in my first year of the program so many of my courses are generalized and not related to the field of med lab science. This allows students to get better prepared for the program as it lays the groundwork for future courses.
Fees
Personally, for my program i believe the tuition fees for each year is around $7,500, and there is also auxiliary fees such as bus pass, gym membership and others that are added on top of that. Textbooks are a large added expense on top of tuition as well with some books costing up to $300 or $400 , with increasing prices each year.
- Modern health care has become increasingly dependent on complex laboratory tests the results of which aid in the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of disease.
- The student will gain fundamental knowledge and skills in biological, physical and health sciences. The medical laboratory science-specific courses cover five laboratory disciplines: biochemistry, hematology, histotechnology, microbiology and transfusion science.
- This program is accredited by the Canadian Medical Association. Upon successful completion, a student is eligible to write the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science national certification examination and subsequently work in all Canadian provinces and territories.

Hello, I am from India, and I want to apply for the 2024 intake in the law program with 73% in 12th and 3-year bachelor of commerce.
Ontario Tech's Legal Studies program typically requires a minimum average of 75% in your senior high school and the first three years of undergraduate studies (e.g., Bachelor of Commerce). While your 73% in 12th and BCom might fall slightly below this.
To get admission in the undergraduate Law programs of Ontario Tech University, you must have completed secondary school with at least 70% marks from a recognized institute. With 62% marks, you will not be able to meet the cut-off.
