Vardharaj Konar Review at Georgian College, Barrie | Collegedunia

Georgian college provides great flexibility

My experience at Georgian college is pretty good. Other than studies, you can participate in various club and expand your network. I am really enjoying the flexibility provided by the college when it comes attending online classes.

Course Curriculum :

The Program come under GC Flex which means you can attend classes from any part of the world.

Exams :

For Post Graduation program you will require bachelors degree in relevant field, IELTS score of 7 and work experience will be added advantage. CV is mandatory and SOP is mandatory for some program. I would suggest that you must submit SOP yo increase your chances.

Placement :

Georgian college doesn't provide on campus placement However it supports research opportunities as the college has tie-up with many IT companies.

Fees :

Total fess for 1 year program which has 2 semester costed me 17,500 CAD.

Faculty :

Faculties to student ratio is 1:40 Faculties have good experience in teaching and they are very helpful when it comes to assignments. All the Professors are approachable for doubt clearing. Myles Harris is the one professor who have mastered the trick of teaching student without students getting bored.

Campus Life :

The campus life is pretty cool. You will find lounges in every corner of the College for students to relax and study. The College huge gym and sports facilities. Technology used for education is pretty impressive.

Hostel :

The College has its own residency which will cost you around 750 CAD per month for private room but the problem is it has waitlist. You can find your own accommodation in sharing around the College which range from 350-450 CAD When it comes to transportation within Barrie it is completely free as you don't need to pay at local barrie Transit.
