Campus Life:

Lots of events on the campus and the college staff is very friendly. Very easy to access all the resources and never felt any difficulties in using them.

Hostel:

Very good accommodation. The security and safety is very well taken care in the College Residence.

  • Dislikes:
  • There are no such things which I don't like about this college. Only one thing that the main campus of this college is not in GTA area it is very far from Toronto. Other than that this college is good.

Campus Life:

Campus life is so good here. You can meet new people from different countries and there are so many events Canadore organize. Our campus has sports area, cafeteria, library and many more things.

Hostel:

If you are planning about taking private room it will cost you more but if you are ok with sharing room then it's good.

  • Dislikes:
  • As most of the students know Hindi, they use Hindi as a common language even in groups which may cause a discomfort for those non-Hindi speakers.,
  • I am not sure if its a different case now, I was not provided with Microsoft 365- Student plan as most of the colleges provide it for students.

Campus Life:

As I was not in the main Campus, my campus was so small. We don't have any libraries, sports facilities etc.

Hostel:

Its always good to have shared rooms if you have a good friend.

Campus Life:

Campus life is good. It is great to live with college friends. I have nearly 20 people studying the same program who originally belong to my home country. all the spots like the library, sports facilities have fully packed with the books and equipment.

Hostel:

As a newcomer, try to find shared accommodations or find good friends who can help you to find housing off-campus. There are no such criteria for finding accommodation but look for rooms and apartments on Kijiji and the marketplace.

Due to Corona, classes are still offered online. We have received a mail that the campus will be opening from next semester.

Accommodations and living expenses are high, but this can be managed if a person is doing part time during studies. Average rental costs from 450 to 640 CAD.

In Scarborough, Mississauga and Brampton the average rent for international students range from 350$ to 600$ in sharing and upto 800$ for individual rooms.

I learned about this college by doing research about mental health and addiction type programs. I also had heard great things about the college from alumni that had gone there previously. I applied to 3 different colleges and was accepted to all 3. After previously graduating from a different college I determined that I wanted to take a different route into a new field.

Hostel:

Off campus doing part time security guard jobs and meals I have made my own after hard work.International student life is difiicult and stages are high due to which problems arise. Now we have to find job .

Canadore is more focused on practical knowledge to succeed in real world. I get acceptance of too many colleges but I prefer it as it was one of best researched colleges by my parents. I was interested in business and they have more curricular activities that s why I chose it. Canadore is good colleges to study
