The International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS) offers admission to M.A. in Population Studies through Distance Mode of Education. Total intake in the course is 100.
Admission to the course will be based on merit of qualifying examination. Bachelor’s degree in any social science subject/Health Sciences/Mathematics/ Statistics will be the eligibility criteria of admission.

I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. from International Institute for Population Sciences - [IIPS], Mumbai in Biostatistics. It is a very prestigious course from a highly recognised university hence, it's genuinely very special to me.
The admission procedure is very simple, any student can take admission in the course no matter he is from India or foreign. But a candidate must have an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 55% for general category and 55% for reserved from a recognized board in India. A candidate has to appear for the Online Entrance Test across India and the admission is given on the merit list.
My parent advised me to take admission in the college. After completing my graduation in Bio-statistics with a good mark of 75%, I applied for the course and qualified for the Online Entrance Test. The syllabus for the course was Population, Health, General Knowledge and Logical Reasoning. I found my name in the second merit list and took admission in the course by paying the admission fees.
Admission is done on the basis of the scores in the entrance exam that is held by the IIPS. The exam consists of objective questions from Basic General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, English Grammar, Basic Mathematics, Population, Health, and Social Science Issues. Process itself is online.
