- The BA in philanthropy program is a collaboration between the Department of Communication and the College of Business.
- The unique combination of communication competencies and business skills offered in the program prepares students to meet the growing demands of nonprofit and philanthropic management professionals.
- The BA in philanthropy program is the first of its kind in Texas. Students are required to complete courses in the philanthropy major and acquire a minor or certificate in business philanthropy.
- Students are also expected to engage in supervised internship and other experiential learning activities.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
- Students are required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
Language Requirments:
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
- Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission.
International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
