University of South Florida biology programs are designed to foster the development of technical and analytical skills used in existing and emerging fields of discovery. These programs emphasize learning and teaching about the interactions, across all scales, among humans and other diverse organisms in a range of environments. The university’s faculty actively redesign courses for improved student learning, and are always working to improve curriculum by introducing new and exciting electives and research-based pedagogy to our classrooms.
