The USF Social Studies Programs prepare students for careers as social studies teachers, instructional leaders, curriculum designers, and researchers. Social studies (such as history, civics, and geography) deal with human relationships and the way society works. USF's faculty have divergent scholarly interests, perspectives, and approaches that are recognized nationally and internationally in their respective areas of expertise.
