The Liberal Studies from the University of San Diego major is designed to prepare individuals who want to become elementary school teachers. This major offers instruction in the content and pedagogy that is required to teach in an elementary classroom. With careful planning, the major allows one to graduate in nine semesters, which includes completion of student teaching and one of the following teaching credentials: Multiple Subject, Education Specialist (Mild/Moderate).

The Liberal Studies major offers:

Academic Requirements:
