You will study the stages involved in developing commercial real estate, including site acquisition, property valuation, financing and marketing and leasing strategies. Our dedicated real estate professors will offer their quantitative expertise as you learn financial modeling and train for the industry's most sought-after professional designations, including ARGUS, LEED and CCIM.

Your learning does not stop there. While earning your Master’s in Real Estate (MSRE), you will also visit current construction projects in San Diego and work on real client projects, such as developing business plans and investment strategies alongside successful property owners. For a global learning experience, you can fly with us to Hong Kong during January Intersession and study real estate investment and capital markets.

A passion for green building, commercial real estate or property investment is great. But what really sets you apart—and attracts prospective business partners and clients—is having a professional real estate designation. We encourage you to pursue these certifications and designations, whether during the program or through fast-tracking after graduation.

A dual degree is an efficient and productive way to acquire all of the education and expertise you can at once. Complete two degrees in an accelerated time frame and build credibility with prospective employers and business partners. The Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) program offers a variety of dual degree program offerings. Choose from an MSRE/MBA or an MSRE/JD, or explore a joint degree with our international partner. Students must apply to and be accepted by both programs for the dual degree programs.

At the University of San Diego School of Business, you have the option to complement your master's in real estate with an approved program here on campus, or through our international partnership.
