New York University Political Science Course

Political science studies at New York University are focused on the theory and practice of politics at the domestic and international levels. Major areas covered in the NYU curriculum include quantitative and formal political analysis, political methodology, American politics, political theory, comparative politics, and international relations.

The concentration in politics offers one the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of both American and international political systems, as well as, the theoretical foundations of political behaviour. This program prepares the students for careers in government, business, teaching, social work, urban affairs, and journalism, in addition to paving the way for advanced, graduate-level study.
