New York University Biology Courses

The NYU Department of Biology offers several majors and minors, and approximately 100 courses. To earn departmental honours in Biology, a student must complete an independent research project, present the project in the form of a written thesis and oral defence, and have a GPA of at least 3.65 overall and in the major. These programs teach students foundational scientific concepts and research and analysis skills while cultivating critical thinking. Students work independently and work collaboratively to solve research questions.
