The best college out of current choices with a great program for my area The perfect college experience except for the weather which is very violent. We experience temperatures as low as -20. Great coursework with strong emphasis on research and is one of the best universities for systems (OS, distributed, data systems, etc) engineering. Plenty of opportunities for TA/RA/part time.

- Weather is not very friendly but is manageable with the right set of clothes. All graduate level courses require you to read research papers on a regular basis and the projects will also be research centered. It will be difficult at first but you’ll soon get used to it.
