Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must have passed high school with good grades
  • Students are required to have the following academic units:
    • Four years of English
    • Three years of college-prep math
    •  Two years of history; three total social sciences,
    •   Two years of a foreign language
    •  Three years of science, with at least two years of lab science
    • At least three additional units in any combination of the subject areas listed above

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.

  • Interview and Writing Test: After applying, students may be required to complete an interview and/or writing test. 
  • ELP Scores: Students have to submit their English language proficiency scores like IELTS, TOEFL, or other test scores.

This program prepares students for professional school in various health-related disciplines.

Graduates of the Physics program are well prepared to pursue advanced graduate study in physics or allied disciplines, to embark immediately upon a professional career in science, or to enter one of the numerous careers which require or are enhanced by a broad knowledge of scientific principles for today’s technological society.

Positions in this field involve industry, clinical laboratory testing, the health professions, as well as biomedical, chemical, and physics research.
