Course Details
Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University (SBV) is a medical college which was established in 2001. The first batch of college was started in 2002 April. The university was recognized as a deemed university by University Grant Commission, New Delhi.
Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth University (SBV) offers the following under graduate (UG) and post graduate (PG); programmes in various disciplines:-
Under graduate course:-
- MBBS
- BDS
- B.Sc (in 6 disciplines)
- Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing)
Post graduate course:-
- M.Sc. (Nursing)
Candidates can get admission to the above mentioned courses through SVBDUDCET common entrance test conducted by the university. Check SBV Admission 2021
Candidate can register themselves to the above mentioned MBBS courses by submitting the application fee of amount Rs. 1500/- by DD.
Candidate can register themselves to the above mentioned BDS courses by submitting the application fee of amount Rs. 1000/- by DD.
Candidate can register themselves to the above mentioned Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) & M.Sc (Nursing) courses by submitting the application fee of amount Rs. 500/- by DD.
SBV MBBS Eligibility
- Candidate must have passed HSC with PCB with at least 50% aggregate marks with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than core course of English from this university or any other recognized university. Or
- Candidate must have done intermediate examination in sciences of an Indian University/Board or other recognized examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Or
- Candidate must have pass pre-professional/pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, after passing either the higher secondary school examination, or the pre-university or an equivalent examination. Or
- Candidate must have clear first year of three years degree course of a recognized university, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in three subjects and candidate must pass 10+2 with English at a level not less than a core course.
Age limit Eligibility
Candidate should complete 17 years of age on or before 31st December.

- Candidates can obtain application form along with information brochure issued by the college or download it from the university website “www.sbvu.ac.in”
- Candidates who have to download the application form they have to pay Rs.1500/- as DD towards the cost of application along with completed application form.
- Candidate can also obtain application form by person on payment of Rs.1500/- by cash from the college office at puducherry/Chennai.
- Candidate can also obtain application form by post by sending DD of amount Rs. 1500/- drawn in favour of Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth , payable at puducherry.

i choose this course to start my career in hospitality sector of india and contribute to world to help the citizens . the faculty is very friendly and there are many experts who use a very simple language to understand . The teachers gave in depth explainations of each topics . there are many term exams and semesters to crack but it help to excel us to make more efforts to learn and remember the knowledge .

There are a number of courses available in that college and the faculty is very strict the student ratio is low because it was located in a remote village the qualification of the faculty is very nice and their teaching is also very nice it was a deemed University affiliated to Balaji Vidyapeeth in Pondicherry exams are conducted by them and it is moderate.
